@bezerker99 Wow, those are awesome! Now I really wish I had the original AC, to play that game and all the other games too. How long does it take to find every game though, seems like a huge undertaking.

@ClaytonLuigi - IIRC, it took quite a while to unlock all the NES games. Here is a list of them:
Golf Tennis Pinball Donkey Kong DK Jr. Math Clu Clu Land Excitebike Balloon Fight Wario Woods Baseball Soccer DK Jr. Clu Clu Land D Donkey Kong 3 Punchout Super Mario Bros (requires Action Replay to acquire) The Legend of Zelda (also requires Action Replay)
Remember - if you had the GBA to Gamecube cable, all of these games could then be transferred temporarily to your Gameboy Advance. It's just another reason I think the original AC was absolutely brilliant and still waaaaay ahead of it's sequels (WW and CF).
@bezerker99 Wow that's a lot more than I thought there were! My friend has an action replay, so whenever I find a copy of this, I'm buying it! (I espically want to try Punchout, Wario's Woods, and maybe finally beat Donkey Kong). Such a shame I haven't bought any of these on vc yet, but I could enjoy them here. Thanks~

@ClaytonLuigi - It would probably be easier to pick the games u seem interested in and buy/download them on VC. Seriously, it took a looooong time to get all those games within Animal Crossing. It's sort of like collecting all the pieces of furniture within the same suit. You can't just buy the game and expect to have all the Modern Furniture at your disposal (outside of stuff you don't mention here on this site ).
Also, if I worked at Nintendo....the next AC for 3DS would have the game integrated with the eShop where u could purchase games as well as play existing games previously bought within the actual game.
Same with the Wii - if another AC were to come out on this console (not gonna happen) - I would have it integrated with the Wii Shop and have it possible for the gamer to play whatever VC games it already has on it through the game.
This would make it feel like a throwback to the original Animal Crossing on the Gamecube in that it has classic games built right into the game! xD

I'm going to have to do this, my friend realized he sold that game with his gamecube last year (he had forgotten). So I guess I'll never get to play the original AC (anytime soon anyway) . And I just got pears in City Folk

How do you find your friend cide in City Folk? I can't figure it out. And when I get the info, @bezerker99 I'll be a little busy with Xenoblade, but I'll make time to play .

I was told by a Gamestop employee today that AC:3DS now has an "official" release date of 8/2. Does the official title mean this is not just another place holder date. No one may know I just wanted some thoughts on that. Either way I'm waiting to hear if they have anything to say at E3 before I get all hyped up.
@ACGal I can't wait for august! I hope it's released in July at least! @bezerker and @pik when do you guys want to go online in City Folk?

I spend the first three months of this year playing AC:WW every single day until I perfected my town and got a golden watering can.... Now that I have it I haven't visited my town in weeks.... It's depressing!
I already preordered AC:3D, I can't wait to be able to play online.

It doesn't matter if you save or not, the game knows you've played and the changes stay. That means, the weeds would've been there even if you had turned off the game and went back in time.
I honestly like August 2nd as a release date for AC:3DS because then it would come out closer to my birthday so I wouldn't have anxiety attacks looking at reviews in June and realizing my birthday isn't for 2 more months. So, August please. Also, if Resetti isn't in 3DS, I wonder who well yell at you when you don't save?
