NO BLOODY WAY WAS THAT A RED CARD.

I don't understand why that was a red card. Clearly it was a handball.... but I didn't think they got red cards for that.

If it's a handball preventing a goal, red card and penalty shot. Whether the handball was intentional is debatable because if his arm was pressed against his body then the handball shouldn't have been called at all.

What about the tackle from behind. Red Card much.

I'm surprised that Ghana cannot score with the extra man (actually Aussies have had better chances with 10-men). Either way, Germany and Serbia are the better teams of the group.

@BrazCanaMan I agree give them praise and back them all the way when praise is due when they give there all, But in no way and by anyones standards did the England team give it there all or any effort last night. Im not one of the real fans that pay a fortune to follow their team team to all four corners. When you are one of those fans and you see a display such as that you have every right to show your displeasure.

David Beckham is a good example he was boo'd for what he did in the one world cup and newspapers tore shreds out of him, did he whine like a little baby no he went out and showed what that shirt mean't to him and earnt the respect of the fans. You earn the respect its not a given when you put on the shirt the team needs to do the same.

I couldnt agree more , a point very well made , and i cant see how anyone could disagree , but they will , and it will be the ones who would rather see there own team win the premiership than England win the World cup !... I think the premiership has slowly killed our national team on so many levels !

Can't believe Cameroon lost today... They were doing pretty well into the first half. Don't know what happened...

We can still proceed forward. If Germany lose to Ghana, and we beat Serbia severely then we with Ghana will proceed.

Ghana do not look good at all. They barely tied Serbia and Australia despite being a man-up each game with a penalty kick opportunity. Germany will get a result against Ghana for sure. Serbia and Australia will be a bit more even, but Serbia has a great team this World Cup and has the potential to make it the quarter-finals.

@BrazCanaMan: Chill out man Italy got the exact same treatment from NZ and the ref did nothing about it execpt giving the penalty shot which I admit that we would have lost if it were not for it but then again this is comeing from a guy who has no faith in his country's team whatsoever

I agree that having Kaka sent of like that was BS, but, damn man, simmer down now. He'll be back in play again for the games that matter. Brazil is off to the next round no matter what happens in their third game.

It was a shame about Kaka.............but the Brazilians were diving and faking all game, let alone using there hands to score goals , so i think it rubbed of on the ivorians , so gave them some of the same !!!!! Not really sure why the Great Brazillians now think they have to cheat , its a shame :{

Italy isn't looking so hot. Technically they should get a good result from Slovakia, but based on the way Italy is playing, we may not see them in the second round. Instead they can hang out with the French national team.
