Do you think it would be profitable for Nintendo to release games on the computer? I'd love to see some of the classic Nintendo games or new ones available on the computer. It might not be profitable for them though. I don't know.

....Then there would be no point for the consoles to exist...

I would love that, I'd buy them. But the thing is, that would drive down console sales. Like a rock.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

If I got to choose, I'd like to have every Nintendo, Sony & MS game on PC. Would be nice to not have to buy each company's systems.

But it won't happen.

Please understand that the reason why its comfortable for many gamers to get into PC gaming is because of how accessible it is. a game is made on a computer, ordering stuff online is on PC. Pretty much everything you want to do can be accessed on PC.

But the beauty of a Console is how it takes time to get used to its functions. Every single thing in the console is different than the others no matter what you think about it. You play on TV to get yourself a better view and let others watch you play but PC, you can choose to let people watch or not.

Because of the accessibility of the PC, developers want to make quick money to make use of the PC so that's why they port it on PC because its very likely that most of the games on consoles are going to be old and since companies don't want old games to go to waste, they port them to newer consoles.

Nintendo doesn't need to do this because every system they make is unique and that uniqueness can't be accessible on PC. Not only that but they have to port the games in PC without it making it look like its emulated which means redesigning a game that's already perfect in a system that they made it exclusively on.

After so long...I'm back. Don't ask why

If Nintendo did this there would be no reason to get a Nintendo system at all. I know alot of people who buy a Nintendo console for Nintendo games and then have a PC for third party games that don't come to Nintendo's consoles. If they were to do that Nintendo might as well give up on the hardward business like Sega did.

1. It is going to happen. Honestly USA had this war since 2001 that is still on going and those fan-base are the missing link.
2. You are right if Nintendo released their games on computers instead of game systems they would lose profits in hardware sales.
3. Selling DLC is stupid and unfair to the buyer but when your money is worth nothing and you want to cut production and jobs???
4. Microsoft X-bone series damaged the entire videogame run.

I don't know how to feel about your post right now. Only 2 seems relevant to thread, but even as a non-Xbox fan I find your 4th point to be an exaggeration at best.
