Topic: Ideas for the site

This site needs a dedicated space for community blogs. This community would make great gaming blogs, and they could provide weekend material in a blog round up on the site.

@Nintendo_Ninja: I've always liked that idea, but not sure how many would write something for here when there are so many other places like tumblr, Facebook and Twitter to name a few. Can you expand on the idea?

Members of the site could write their own articles, similar to sites like game informer, and Nintendolife could maybe have a blog round-up every week for the best ones. Other sites have thriving blog communities, and the large forum and article discussions I see here would probably assure it's success.

Do you have mobile access to the forums via an app or tapatalk-type forum integration?

Is there any chance this site could cover event pokemon news? Serebii covers it but I so rarely visit it I always miss the give aways.

It would be awesome to be able to filter game searches for owner/unowned games. If I go looking for a new game to buy, filtering out my collection would be really useful.

Any chance you guys can take a page out of JavaScript and have backslash spare characters like asterisks from shortcutting BBCode? As you may know, they are used quite often.

@jump we don't have this feature yet, but it is on our (big) list of ideas, so it may get added in the future

@Megumi_Sagano he/she got banned using a different account a couple of months ago in less than 24 hours for insulting people and generally spamming the forums and is obviously still harbouring a grudge over it.

And they don't seem to have learned their lesson. Trust me they're not worth your time.

@Tasuki he's been banned now for the second time less than 24 hours after setting up his second account, matching his record he previously set a couple of months ago, so he won't be answering your query anytime soon. Though his opinion is obviously not worth much anyway so until next time when he tries his dad's email address to set up a third account!

@Danksparce You might be a little strict in-terms of locking up threads, but you are in no way a mental case moderator, you are quite dank however.

@antdickens I just thought I'd mention a bug I noticed while was using the Submit Game feature. Under the Release Dates tab, if you add additional release dates, the Alternate Publisher section for each subsequent date has a drop-down menu (rather that a textbox like the first).
