I'm not sure if I should ping @antdickens on this directly, but here goes:
Would it be possible to implement a section/page under one's profile with a title like "Naughty Behaviour: Your Progress Toward a Permanent Ban"? You know, on the page where we access our Profile, Games, Comments, Discussions, and Posts?
Relevant data to be included:
A count of the number of one's comments that have been deleted by mods
Access to all of these comments (in full), along with the reason for the deletion
Links to the Community Standards, Terms of Service, et cetera
This information is currently scattered or inaccessible, resulting in long, despairing searches when one wishes to recall one's crimes and contemplate them. I just thought that a calm, neutral, clearinghouse approach to listing one's misdeeds would be just here, like hearing the list of charges being read out in court. Although I suppose mods could also leave spicy, menacing comments on such a page for us to find.
(You needn't remind me of how close I am, mods. I already know)
itโs actually very bold that you even pinged ant at all about this, bravo?
Antdickens seems like a very nice person, but pinging the actual CEO of the associated websites and asking for a feature to show if you are about to be banned does seem dangerous ๐
I think it is definitely better not to ping staff unnecessarily. Especially since any non-urgent comments in this thread will be looked at eventually.

Ah. Well, I wasn't certain of that, you see. I don't believe I've ever commented in this thread before. Another faux pas on my part, perhaps? I'm not in any rush, of course, so I am happy to await the management's response in good time.
I would be pleased to reply to your comments, FishyS and @Yousef-, but I am not sure if this is the thread in which to do so. Also, to actually address your comments, I would have to "discuss moderation", which is clearly not something I will do here - certainly not until management replies, or the mods afford me the scope to do so.
@CANOEberry we don't ban people based on an arbitrary number of removed comments, so what you're asking for would basically be impossible. Follow the community rules and it won't be something you need to worry about.
@antdickens Good afternoon Ant, just a minor bug I have noticed. Lately when I post a reply to a user in the forums the post will get posted twice even though I tap the button once. For reference I am using Chrome and a Droid phone. I am not sure if it happens on my PC as I havent notice it there just on my phone.

I'm not really sure if this is a technical limitation or a mod policy, but can you please do something about mods nuking an entire post if there's only one part of the post that's rule breaking. Like if someone writes a multi-paragraph response and only one paragraph is problematic, allow the mods to edit the post to simply delete the one paragraph instead of the entire post? I suspect users are abusing the reporting feature and wanting to censor opinions they don't agree with rather than legitimately reporting posts that break the rules.
Also a DM feature would be great, even if it's just limited between members and staff. Having to utilize email for this is clunky and potentially less secure than an in-site messaging system. Furthermore, it might be better for mods to be able to DM users when they are repeatedly breaking the rules rather than continue to delete posts without the user's knowledge, having a DM system can allow the staff to communicate more specifics on what is being violated and the user can better understand how to improve behavior (as they may not be breaking rules intentionally, they may simply not be aware that their actions are in violation).
