For America, at least. There are currently 98 games & apps in the store, and based on the number of releases we've been getting recently (3 to 5), it will most likely come this week (January 11). Nintendo has comfirmed Touch Solitaire for Monday, so will that be it or somethig else?
Just a side note: Only two of those 98 games/apps are free (DSi Browser and Flipnote Studio), so if America gets 4 games that aren't free America'll also have its 100th paid game/app! I'm personally hoping it's something epic, like a DSi VC or Shantae RR and not something like a Gameloft game. What would you like it to be?

You never know. They probably won't do it because they don't think there are enough games on the previous handhelds to make it like the Wii's VC. I've always thought they could also port NES, SNES and other various 8 and 16 bit consoles to help with that. Oh, and also arcade games as well like Pac-Man and Dig Dug.
I would definitely like to see some free titles [mostly because I just spent my last 500 on trajectile, and if something awesome comes out, free stuff would make me less impatient to get a points card ]

NES and SNES cant happen because it would take up way to much data. An arcade game might have a chance, but I would still doubt it. I want it just as bad as you.

Well, as it turns out the 100th non-free game came out today, so either Starship Defense, Dark Void Zero, Chronos Twins or that Gameloft pet sim is the 100th.
I don't really think Nintendo is really considering this a celerbration, on any landmark number (150,200,250) if there's going to be any game that Nintendo uses to celerbrate, it will probably be a game they make
NES or SNES would fit into a dsiware title i know try downloading a SNES ROM it only takes up like 500 kb.

According to wikipedia there are 99 games on the dsi shop. So hangman and movieland, which are confrimed fot next weeks release, along with whatever Ninty decides to release will be dsiwares 100th non free game download.....maybe to will be a free game by Ninty or something like that... edit: heres to wishful thinking
