Now that I remember, when I bought Atari Classics Collection Vol. 2 for DS last month, I saw the first Puzzler World by Atari on Amazon and I thought it looked interesting (and had great ratings), so I added it to my wishlist for future shopping sprees.
I completely forgot about it until I reread Aenigma's first comment.

Now I can download it (or better, a sequel) directly to my 3DS, how convenient!

There is another game that was released the end last month for the 3DS called "Puzzler World 2012 3D" by UBI Soft [for $19.99]. I'm thinking of getting that one as well.

Ok. I actually like the puzzles, I wish there was an assist you could turn on (like for Crosswords) when you get stuck in the Crossword Puzzles, you have to use 'hint tokens' that you earn throughout the game. I love the variety of puzzles so far. So far, so good. And spinning that wheel rocks haha.. Anything that involves me spinning a wheel for a prize I am just a sucker for. Glad i got this now.

I gave in and bought it.

It's pretty good! The puzzles are fun and the controls are good. I Haven't found any bug in the time I spent playing today.
I reallty liked the option to "train" the game to recognize your handwriting, it was the first thing I did before playing any game and so far it seems it works perfectly.

The link-a-pix puzzles are new to me and they're my favorite of the pack so far (I unlocked one specially big puzzle that took me 45 minutes to solve, and it was great ).

The word searching games are good too, I was curious about the word searching dsiwares that used to be released back then but never bought a single one, this comes comes with several word searching games and the controls are perfect so far, so I'm glad I never did!
The sudoku is of the "easy" variation so everyone should be able to play it, the controls, again, work perfectly (there's a small wait time after you put a correct number, but it's not bothersome).
The first hide and seek puzzle was kinda hard, but fun. I'm yet to try the other kinds of puzzles yet.

Anyways, I'm really liking this game.

PD: I won 75 hint tokens on my first wheel minigame

Funny, they released this retail DS game to the eshop and sold it cheaper than it could've been worth, take that Nintendo!

Edit: Oh wow, the crosswords part uses real brands and character names

@Morphtroid Yeah, I am loving it, too. I love the wheel, and all the different minigames and trophies. After playing this for a few hours today and really getting into it, I would give it a 7 or 8 out of 10. It could be better, like everything else, but I am loving the variety and fun factor here I love Jigsaw Puzzle, Link-A-Pix, Fitword, Backwords, there's so much content here!

Btw, I just spelled out "Puzzler" in the Bonus Wheel stage and it gave me 100 hint tokens. If you spell this out 5 times it also increases the award!

I'm one letter away from completing my first "Puzzler".

Edit: completed the first one, going for the second.

I wish the silhouette master puzzles would unlock jigsaw puzzles too, without them, they're quite boring.
I mean, I love them on real activity books, but here they're kind of pointless (since the pieces fill themselves).

Oh by the way, I was checking what bugs had the original game and it seems they were corrected (so far)
It also seems that the original game is quite expesive right now (a new copy costs 116 dollars on amazon D:) and the iPad version costs way more than this one (and has less puzzles), this is actually a great deal.

I need to stop speaking up when I get assigned a puzzle game...plans always seem to change. It won't be me this time. I'm doing a review of a major game that will be released shortly instead. Can't say I'm complaining...

Aww, well I hope whoever is reviewing this is doing the game justice. I can't stop playing it now, I'm addicted

Btw, you don't have to tell me which game you're reviewing, but I'm hoping its NightSky!

That's good to know! I am thoroughly enjoying the variety offered in this game. It's like a word addict (with ADD) gamer's friend lol.. Not as polished as Crosswords + but you get so much for what you are paying for. Great value and you'll definitely get your $5 out of it! I've been having fun with every aspect of the game. The color-in puzzles seem the hardest to me. (The one where no color can share borders in the pic.)

Those and the hide and seek puzzles are pretty hard.

And crosswords, but I have been using hints on crosswords to get the 1000 tokens used trophy.

So wait... based off of what people have been saying, this is a pretty good game.
Is this game hard? How much content is there?
Maybe I'll Just wait for the review.

Do you truly look at things positively? For example, do you look at the glass like it's always full? (Half water, half air.) Or when someone "lets the cat out of the bag," do you think it's because the person felt sorry for the cat stuck in the bag? There is a positive side to almost everythin...

This game was actually reviewed by NintendoLife last year: https://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/2010/10/puzzler_world_201...

The game has 560 main "challange" puzzles (35, 70 or 105 of each type of puzzle [listed below]) accommodated in groups of 16, and each puzzle unlocks a bonus sub puzzle when you beat it, that makes 1120 puzzles. It also comes with unlockable "master" puzzles:
-32 worsearch (105 in challange)
-32 sudoku (105 in challange)
-32 crosswords (70 in challange)
-16 hide & seek (35 in challange)
-16 link-a-pix (70 in challange)
-32 fitword (70 in challange)
-16 backwords (35 in challange)
-16 pieceword (35 in challange)
-16 silhouette (35 in challange)
Unfortunately, there are no sub puzzles on master mode. That makes 1328 puzzles...
But this version also inlcudes a rather excessive amount of bonus wordsearch puzzles (592 [which by the way is more than the whole Word Seacher DSiWare series which I am glad I never bought any game from]) which are available from the very begining.
That gives a grand total of 1920 puzzles to solve, plus the wheel minigame you play after every sub puzzle to get hint tokens.

The puzzles in challange mode start out pretty easy and start getting harder as you advance through the 560 puzzles. Some puzzle types are easier or harder than others (silhouette and fitwords puzzles are ridiculously simple while hide & seek and crosswords can be pretty hard). However, hint tokens are pretty easy to obtain and can pretty much be used to solve the puzzles without any effort, if you're into that kind of thing.

Sub puzzles are quicker compared to the main puzzles, they range from jigsaw puzzles, to math pyramids and even hangman (among many others).

It's pretty much like gettting a huge amount of activity books and stuffing them on the 3DSi.

By the way, you also get 3 files and can train the game to recognize your handwritting or your own secret code if you desire so.
Oh, and achievements, too.

The amount of options and content is pretty amazing for a 500 DSiWare game.

On a side note, I wish there was a way to save the completed link-a-pix puzzles, the larger ones can be pretty pretty when finished.

@Morphtroid Wow. Thanks for breaking that down, Morph. That's really an amazing value! I have been playing this game alot still and am so glad I downloaded it. Between this game and Crosswords+, I am pretty much set on having enough Word Games to play (and the variations in this title are enormous.) Thank you for being one of the ones to talk me into getting it haha..

Thank you for answering my question.
The only thing is, I'm not the greatest at puzzles, so I'll get stuck easily if they're too hard. But yet I got Glow Artisan (and that gets hard), so why not?

By the way, I'm surprised that no one mentioned that this was made by UFO.

These puzzles do get hard, and that's actually quite normal since these are supposed to be time wasters... But you can pretty much solve them with hint tokens if you want to.

They're just the publishers, it was developed by someone else.

Anddddd.... The review is up:

One more thing bothering me about this game...
Is there anything to do once you have completed every puzzle?

I don't see why would you want to keep playing it after solving almost 2000 puzzles.

I guess you could solve them again on another file, chances are you'll forget the answers.

You can also try and get all the achievements if you haven't yet.

As a puzzle lover purist, this is way more than enough for me. Why you would want to complete all the puzzles is a personal question. I would love to complete them all because I simply love word puzzles. If you don't, however, you might not want to keep going on. lol

My mom just dowloaded this to her DSi. It's the first thing she buys by herself ever since I gave her the DSi and it's the only non-Brain Age game she plays.
They grow so fast
