Its not Halo: DS... do you really want it to be? I can easily change the story to be a halo game not a clone tho it will still be a different story but with Master chief and cortana... Yeah I might do that but the name Halo DS might or might not work idk I'll think about it... Also when can I have the qrs?
no, I just meant it because it had firefight and the halo AR and the halo Sniper rifle. that's all. it's up to you what you want to do with your own game, and I know I would enjoy it because it looks similar to halo. I am a big fan of halo. one question: is there going to be a Multi Player aspect to it?

It's not as easy as asking someone how and it magically appears it takes hard work and lots of time
@randomouse Thanks, The code can get a bit much when it gets near 1000 lines. I have added scoring primes. Question: How did you make the cards shuffel? Sprites using spofs from deck to column? @Zane-dude You make things solid by searching for a background tile number using BGREAD, a graphics color you hide underneath the background, or from an array of wall locations. Some people use BGOFS or move the map one screen at a time. In the later case, they detect if the character reached the edge and shift everything to the other side (sprite and new background). I brought in a grp file created by Aster2 (which I need to update) and then copied the pixels into an array, and then deleted the graphics in Ninja Strike demo. @Zeldafoursword I don't think a real rpg has been created yet. I tried. See the petit computer qr code forum for examples and ptc wiki.

@TexMurphy Shuffle as in the animation that occurs in the beginning of the program? Or shuffling the deck of cards internally so that they're random? The animation in the beginning of Klondike is just a loop that moves the same sprite over and over again to various places on the board. The places the cards move to are pre-determined and follow a strict pattern, so it's easy to code in a loop. Once the sprite has moved from the pile to the correct place, I draw the card on the GRP and move the sprite instantly back to the deck so it can perform the animation once again. If you're not drawing the cards on the GRP, this method isn't feasible. The animation in the beginning of Spider Solitaire is a little more complex because it uses 10 or so sprites, but it still reuses those 10 over and over again.
Hey guys! I'm new here. I've had Petit Computer for a while but I've never bothered doing anything with it until now. I'm working on a top-down spaceship game and I have made the controls and a scrolling map so far. I'm having a few issues though so if someone would be willing to help that would be awesome. One problem I'm having is map size. I'm storing the map data in a 2 dimensional array and the largest I can make it is around 500x500 elements, which isn't quite as much as I want. I'm also having some weird but less important problems getting the initial screen to load properly.

It might take some time, because I'm not good at 3D programming, but I will try finish this game 100% (I can't promise). That means NO alpha/beta/demo versions, except for the unfinished pre-releases. I need some debuggers and music/graphi designers. I wanna make most things myself, but any support is welcome!

@biachstan, Check the petit computer wiki. I believe I saw a game called Star Trek Gust Notch Version, and I looked at the page and one of the first things it said is that the Enterprise turned into a trade ship.
