I have something weird going on with PTCUtilities. I installed Quick Time yesterday, and then, when I started PTCUtilities, an error appeared saying it was missing a .dll file. The prgram still started, but I when I tried importing an image into the graphic editor, it came up with the same error, and didn't import the image. The weird thing is, PTCUtilities seems to have the same problem without Quick Time installed, but it doesn't come up with the error. Any help?

hey guyyyzzzz im baaa-aaack. i need help on how to constantly make multiple sprites spanim at once. sprites in ultima constantly go back and forth wether you move or not.

Ok. For MCDSEdit I have map loading/saving. Today I'll work on displaying the map. The program will use the 16x16 textures to make it easier to use. It'll look kinda like the CHRED BGF editor, having the map at the top and a zoomed in view at the bottom.

@ShadowGame: I would draw a picture on the touch screen (GPAGE 1) and use the variables TCHX and TCHY to tell if the tap was on the icon.

If you want the sprite to be bigger you have to use Spset spriteIDnumber , imageNumber , paletteNumber , horizontalFlip , verticalFlip, imagePriority, SIZEX, SIZEY
where SIZSEX and SIZEY are the size.
You can set most of the other things to 0 like this
Spset myspritenum, chrnumber, 0, 0, 0, 0, 32, 32 'for a 32 by 32 pixel sprite
Spset myspritenum, chrnumber, 0, 0, 0, 0, 64, 64 ' for a 64 by 64 sprite! those are the biggest I think anyways.
Spset myspritenum, chrnumber, 0, 0, 0, 0, 16, 16 ' for a 16 by 16 sprite
Note when using spset and you want the chr number of the sprite to be a different one or using spchr you need to calculate it based on the sprites size... I believe if your sprite is 16 by 16 and you want the next ROW down. You have to add 4 to it or 8. if it's 32 by 32 you have to add 8 or 16 to it i think.. etc.
so yeah there you go if anythings confusing let me know this isn't in the ptc manual either . I got stuck on this part myself once.

Going through the tutorial thread will answer some of that questions. SENDFILE isn't a constant connection, so depending on the game, probably not. How about you make a simple game using knowledge that you already know before you make a game hoping people will answer all your questions before it can be released?
