If your planning on viewing and recreating the link sprites from the original I believe someone on youtube has already created some, maybe you could just read the qr codes off of his video/blog thing.

I can help. If SmileBasic had 3D capabilities, then you'd do:
DIM MAP(X,Y,Z)
but it doesn't have those abilities, so all I can think of is:
DIM MAP1(X,Y)
DIM MAP2(X,Y)
DIM MAP3(X,Y)
...

@iamaperson i mean foreward and backward layers. such as a tree with sky behind it. i made my terrarium map but i need to know how to display the foreground and the background sheets on the screen at once

also for loading two layers you load one layer as SCU0 and one layer as SCU1

@Zzyex way to cut me short! Dungeon Adventure is wayyyyy bigger than Game2. There are stats, leveling up, locked doors, bosses, a town, shops, party members, sidequests, one overly simple puzzle, armor, multiple spells, action button presses, etc...

Dungeon Adventure has 5500 lines of coding vs. Game2's 700. That's a bigggg difference.

Sorry to be so technical, but those are actually 4-bit (16 colors, or to be exact, 15 colors + 1 transparency). Still look good though.

I was wondering which piece, then I realize the name is Boy Flinger. Ha! I know exactly which one it is! If you're not using the witch as the player sprite, maybe you can plant a few of them with different pallette color and use them as target instead of chests. Or is that too politically incorrect where you live?

on a totaly unrealated note i cant get button commands working in terrarium.

it goes to @inv anyways button or not! how do i fix this. i tryed else goto @loop but that just freaked it out
