Trust me, I triend every configuration I could. It would lose color here or there, but if I moved the tv a little bit, it would come back. Now it seems to want to never come back. I am saddened. Ugh.

Well at least they are fixing it for free. Can't beat that.

yeah, I should send my ds too because of the L and R buttons.

Wow. Does everyone have that problem? Every single person I know with a DSi has problems with the L and R buttons after a few months.. I've already got mine fixed though!

it didn't take mine a few months for the R button to not respond on my dsi. it was only a few weeks after christmas. maybe last week. i sent mine to nintendo.

I found a simple solution to that problem, ala the internet. This will sound a bit strange, but you can actually lick them to fix it. I tried it, and it works really well. You can also blow into them, which is probably less harmful. It sounds weird, but trust me on this one.

Didn't think of the licking one, I've been trying blowing but that isn't always effective. It only works about one in three times I do it. Do you think compressed air would work instead of blowing?

Believe it or not, licking the buttons work. A long time ago, my L button stopped working, blowing into it worked, but it would start acting up again in about an hour. Then for some reason, I randomly licked my DSi's L button. Now it only acts up a couple times a month. Licking works!

I'll remember to never borrow your DSi.

Could just be the cable is bad or your TV. I'd try swapping the cable or connecting the Wii to a different TV before assuming it's the Wii.

My L button just broke recently as well. I sent it in today, so it probably won't be back for two weeks. This is the first problem I've ever had with a nintendo system

Oh well, at least I have my old DS phat to fall back on (but I don't have DSiWare to play).

Was that a permanent fix or is it happening again _
