I was playing Might and Magic this morning, and when I got done I plugged it in to the charger. I tried to turn it on about 3 hours later and it won't turn on! AAAAAAAARGH! I already called Ninty, who said they'd send a box and fix it for free, but it's still gonna take at least 2 weeks (I should be getting Order of Ecclesia in the mail from gamefly today). SUCKS SO BAD!!!! Just the way the lady talked about it, it seems like this might be a problem they are having often.
Sounds like something short circuited or there may have been a power surge
This is the most likely explanation. Perhaps you had too much plugged into there or perhaps its a bad outlet to use.
[21:14] pixelman: I blame fheblackdragon
[21:15] pixelman: That's not an f by the way, it's a fancy t.
[21:15] Objection: Tales of Graces "fancy t"
[21:15] Objection: Tinal Tantasy
[21:15] theblackdragon: lol OB
[21:15] pixelman: OB knows what he's asking about.
I googled it, and it seems some people have had the same problem except it might be a fuse problem and not a battery problem. As long as it gets fixed for free, I guess it doesn't matter. @Objection Blaster: I did try it on multiple outlets (I like your avatar, where's his coffee?)
Honestly, they do sell replacement batteries online. It is a shame you don't live in my town. There is a shop that sells spare batteries and they even fix out of warranty systems.(if your problem is the battery) Still, at least it is free. You have my condolences.
It just sucks period. I think I should get a bunch of free nintendo points or something. I hate the fact that I'm paying gamefly while I can't play the game I ordered.
Well at least they are fixing it for free. Can't beat that.
yeah, I should send my ds too because of the L and R buttons.
Wow. Does everyone have that problem? Every single person I know with a DSi has problems with the L and R buttons after a few months.. I've already got mine fixed though!
I found a simple solution to that problem, ala the internet. This will sound a bit strange, but you can actually lick them to fix it. I tried it, and it works really well. You can also blow into them, which is probably less harmful. It sounds weird, but trust me on this one.
Best thread ever
Feel free to add me on Miiverse or PSN.
Miiverse is Moomoo14, PSN is Moomoo1405390

Didn't think of the licking one, I've been trying blowing but that isn't always effective. It only works about one in three times I do it. Do you think compressed air would work instead of blowing?
I finally got my Dsi back. All it says is "replaced system". I can tell it's new, it's stiffer than the one I sent in (when you click it open). Everything is erased. This totally sucks. I've got tons of pictures lost that I never saved to the SD card. Now I have to redownload everthing. Like that isn't enough, the color red seems to have disappeared from my Wii. The color is fine on my tv as far as cable, dvds, etc. is concerned, but when the wii is on the color is off. I've tried everything, I assume it's the cord (non-nintendo high end cable). Of course, I can't find the standard cord the wii came with, and I'm sure I'm out of warranty. Oh ninty, why do you hate me so?

I was at a buddy's house a couple of weeks ago, and his Wii had the same problem. Make sure your plugs are in the right places. He switched them around and then it worked fine.
