Sylverstone is like our secondary news source. NintendoLife should ire him/her
That would be awesome! And I'm a guy!
You can check out my YouTube channel as well! The link is in my signature!
I just checked out your video today, Syl, for Pinball Pulse. Ditto on the idea that NintendoLife should add you on as a reviewer, I don't think they pay though. )
Thanks for keeping up the great work, Sylverstone!

Thanks a lot, man.
And pay or no pay, as long as I do what I love, it will always be rewarding. I am aiming high though to go to NOA as an intern. (crosses fingers )
Good luck!! Hey, you can use us all as references!!
B
Yeah!
Hopefully I can meet some key peeps in the company: Reggie, Cammie, Denise and Bill. Show 'em a few Flipnotes of good video game ideas and other cool ideas for DSiWare! hyperventilates LOL
(Better slow down, takes deep breaths, baby steps....)
That would be great!
That bit about "doing what you love"... I can tell you that I know I am very many years older than you and you sound wise beyond your years when you say that... Doing what you love regardless of pay is the ultimate in job satisfaction. That's why I've been with Starbucks for so long! LOL. Can't live off what they pay me, but I love working there, and that's all that matters to me...

Awesome. I'm hitting 17 by May 2010 and many of my friends say I act way old for my age! The wisdom, knowledge and everything! They come to me whenever a fanboy steps out of line!
Hope I could head over to your Starbucks to get a coffee and some Wi-Fi gaming!
I mean, it's not surprising they have something, they're always doing R&D. I hope my DSi has AT LEAST a 2 year lifespan though. I can't justify spending money on a new console/portable that soon.

I'll be way older by you then. lol! Anyhow, you are welcome to come to my Starbucks anytime (if ever you're in Fort Worth, Texas!) Good luck on everything, and keep us all posted on your efforts!

Totally, and I agree with you 110%. I'm sure most if not all of us could justify spending another $150-200 within a year or two of buying our DSi's. I'm sure they've thought of that and I'm sure that's why the product was shelved for the time being. In these bad economic times, I think that's why downloadable games on the DSi are so popular, because they are cheap, instant gratification... And, I, for one, love it!

I have a funny feeling that NVIDIA is behind this.... Like that story GoNintendo posted, and landed on our site as well!
(R.I.P. Captain Lou... DO THE MARIO!)
I think you are probably 100% correct.
Captain Lou passed away!! For those of you who don't know, he played Mario in the Super Mario Bros Super Show. lolz... Yeah, I didn't watch it either, but I remember Captain Lou most from that Cyndi Lauper video "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun." He's the bearded guy who plays her dad with the rubberband in his beard... haha
May you rest in peace, my friend...not until at least late late next year, so don't worry guys! I'm sure the new system would be backwards compatible to DS carts. if they weren't, that would be a very foolish mistake, and if not, I'm comforted to know that hackers would find a workaround.

WT*@#$%*^ nintendo. i got the dslite and about 9 months later the dsi comes out and now you are saying that your realsing another one in a year. I am realying thinking about switching over to sony, at least there consoles have a 10 year life span so i dont have to go broke on games. :{

It's weird though. I never watched the SMB Super Show but I remember the opening.... OMG .
I saw him wrestle and he's good. As for the Cyndi Lauper vids, I see him in them. Cool dad.

Whoa, whoa! Slow down there! This isn't confirmed though there are numerous sources that have posts that could link to the speculation. Nintendo won't comment just yet and if they did do it, it would be unfair because no DSi-only cards came out yet! (System Flaw being the first later this month.)
We don't know but we hope DSi stays around because DSiWare hasn't hit at least 50 games/apps compared to what Japan has, so it has to stay. And I think the DS Lite had a three-year span comparing to the Original Style DS (Nov. 21, 2004 - June 2006) and now DSi starting from April 5, 2009 in NA/November 1, 2008 in Japan - the present.)
So in retrospect, DSi has been out for 11 months in actuality. It's almost been a year! (in Japan )

If you got a DSLite, I'd just keep it. You don't know if you'll even be able to transfer DSi downloadables yet, so if I were you, I'd just skip the DSi and wait for this. If there's a new system coming out this soon, there probably won't be that many worthwhile DSi only carts, and the ones that are will probably be backwards compatible with this system.
