Well I stop buying DsiWare game a logn time ago, because they are not the same quality of a retail game, anyways I have 500pts left and I have seen that these game comes out, I was looking for a Ivy the Kiwi? Retail copy, but I could not find it anywhere (not in Costa Rica, not in Colombia, not in Panamá) oh well. Anyways I think that these game may be a cool option for me, for anyone who is wondering, these is not a demo, the demo have just 3 levels and thee have like 50. Anyways some of my questions are who much level have the original compared to these one? Do these game have multiplayer? Does these game lack from anything (exept levels) the original have?
I believe the retail version has 100 levels, compared to this version which has 50. Also, I believe the mini version lacks the multiplayer that the original has as well. Ultimately, if you're curious as to how this game is and really can't find it anywhere else, it's worth a go, especially if you liked the demo.
Well, I LOVED the demo, and looked up for these game everywere and can't find it, and well I really don't care about the multiplayer, because well, got nobody to play with. So if these is the half of the game, without multiplayer, for just 5$, thats a 1/3 of the prize, I think it worth getting it.
I bought it tonight and beat the first area with all feathers found. Level 1-5 was actually kind of challenging to beat and find all the feathers. Anyway, I can see both the good points and the bad points in the reviews for the retail game. It is a fun game but I'm a little concerned about it becoming repetitive. In fact, this may be an argument for getting the mini version as it contains exactly half of the gameplay of the single player mode. I think it is good for those who don't really want to invest the money or time in the full release but want to play through the main story mode anyway and have no interest in multiplayer (which I don't). All in all, it seems like a decent amount of content for 500 points. I will be interested to see the review in light of the fact that the full retail version scored 9/10 on here and represents the best score on Metacritic for the game.
EDIT: You know, one thing I did think about was the fact that this game is only 51 blocks. I bet they could have released the whole game on DSiWare for 800 (or 1000?) points. I know that the cartridge reaches a wider audience but it does kind of stink that downloadable size games have to be cartridge-based games for DS. Hopefully, this won't be the case with the 3DS since there will be downloadable games from the get go.
OFF-TOPIC:@rosebud Well Zephaniah is my middle name, so there! Plus I have other connections to the verse number that I cannot divulge without giving away personal information on the Internet. But I plan on changing verses soon as soon as I find another one that really sticks out to me.
Well, for anyone that just want to give these game a try, or for anyone, like me, who can't just find it, these is a very good option!!! Totally recommneded!!!
So, has anyone new to the game played part of this dsiware version and what do u think??

@grumblegrumble: I bought the dsiware version. My initial impressions are above. I am now at the end of the third area and am really enjoying the game. I still worry about repetitiveness but honestly, this game has just as much gameplay as Mighty Flip Champs! and costs 300 points less. I think both developers were going for the same thing, a solid execution of a simple gameplay mechanic. The production values of Ivy the Kiwi? are really good but everything seems a little bit too brown. Some levels are even a little difficult to see what is going on because of all the sepia tone. Anyway, the level design so far has been really cool and I think it will be in line with other 500 point games I have purchased (see Rate Your Collection thread for more info on that).
Good, I may buy this version. I liked the Demo, but since I recently bought a DS game, it'll be a while before I buy another one. This this will do fine.
I am now on level 9-4. Some of the levels in areas 7-9 can get pretty challenging. Definitely worth the $5. Probably would give it an 8/10 if I was reviewing it. To me, it made getting the full retail game completely unnecessary. I think other publishers should do this as well with their cartridge releases.
I beat the game a couple days ago. I have 46 complete levels out of 50. Without giving away anything, I have to say that one of the best parts of the game is the ending.
Has been fun so far... I would say it's a good value for 500 points. Not excellent, but good. The graphics and sound are great, though, for the price.

Woohoo! Collected all the feathers on all 50 levels. Really enjoyed the game. It was well-designed and worth the 500 points.
@odnetnin: I don't think it is as obvious as you would think, and, did you think I needed to add a spoilers tag to my post? I didn't really think I was giving anything away.
