Yep, this game is really good. One of those rare DSiWare titles that could have gone for more than the asking price. My only complaint is I wish there was a way to cycle units without using the touch screen. I dislike having to switch between the touch screen and buttons frequently.

I highly dislike this method, but I just use my thumbs and use them as buttons xD
Will add this to my "to get" list. It looks decent for the price, but I've got several planets to find/conquer in alphabounce before I move on to another portable game.
I've only played it for a few minutes, but my first impressions are I was hoping for more original gameplay. Good game, but haven't seen anything exceptional.
To me, the main thing that makes this title stand out among the defense crowd (besides the smooth graphics), is the aspect of destructible/repairible towers and using the bunkers to shield them from damage. Sort of a tower of defense within a ToD. Topography also seems to have a tactical element , and the stages are HUGE. One tip I'll offer: leave the spot where the enemies approach from open for those long-range 100$ cannons (making sure to leave space so you don't damage yourself. That way, when the fuel tankers show up you won't be taking out your own units from the huge explosion they cause.
something like pixel defence on the the psp or whatever that game was called....... yea i know what they are like but was just wondering how much stuff it had in it.. i know im a cheap #$#$# compalining about a 200 pt game
just looking for a reason NOT to download it before i have to drive up to do it.... i really dont want to drive up to download lol
Well, each of the 3 stages has 4 difficulty settings, and in each difficulty enemies branch off to different paths. This makes the stages play pretty differently on each difficulty. There are also achievement style medals which are not easy to earn, along with high score tracking to keep you playing.
thanks for all the help... what i will probally do is just hold off getting this with First flight and downloading both at once... dont have wi fi so i would have to drive up to the libary... so end up grabbing both of them next monday
Okay for all the people who got it.... how long of a game will it be to get all of the medals in the game (ballpark figure) if i have other tower defence games is this game worth getting as well....
right now im tossed up in the air to download it tomorrow with first flight or just to get first flight ..... probally going to go around 3pm est time tomorrow for the download so hopefully will get alot of feedback by then..

Again thanks 4 all of the help and input.
Well, to earn the final time-based medal you need 8 hours of total game time, so that's the minimum amount of time you'll need to spend to earn them all.
