When I had to make my decision between the two, I asked the same thing. However, with the PSP Go, UMD disks will go the way of the dinosaur eventually, and besides what sort of selection is there on UMD movies? Plus, it's not like NetFlix will rent out UMD discs so you have to buy them. How many movies are you going to buy, and how many times will you watch them?
Rather, I'll use my laptop to watch movies. I'll use my iPod to play music, and I'll use my handheld device to play games. When you boil it down to that, for me the choice was easy ... NDS. That's what I got, and I haven't regretted it yet.

Yeah me too, I have a portable disc player and a Philips GoGear and getting a dsi hopefully for christmas! (what more could you need) so I guess that other statement I made ws a bit far-fetched.

Exactly. The "highest defintion graphics" and yet it doesn't have a touch screen. Pretty much all phones have touchscreens, now! It's a new decade, Sony, get with it!
