Hey everyone, remember Antipole? That game you all bought and got sick of a long time ago? Well, I just got it a few weeks back and I sincerely love it. The physics felt a little sloppy at first, but I adjusted to them quick and now I'd definitely put it in my top 5 eshop games. Or maybe 10. But that's still good!

Anyway I'm trying to finish the game on the harder difficulty that you unlock by beating it once, and I can make it to that tower boss but no further. Does anyone have a strategy for beating it?

I can beat the first two phases without taking damage, but I can't seem to figure out the right way to defeat phase three. I beat it on normal difficulty by tanking the hits, but I don't have that luxury now.

Anyone beat him on hard?

I haven't played this in a while. I'll definitely drag it out in the next day or so and give it a try.

Give me a bit and I'll get back to you.

Hey glad to see someone else really likes this game as much (or more) than I do. I would definitely rank it among my top 15 favorite DSiWare games, if not my top 10.

...as for a strategy for the boss on Hard mode... yeah sorry I got nothing. (I'm personally content with beating any game on the regular, default difficulty)

So, I gave this a try last night.

I think the best strategy is DON'T GET SHOT.

Honestly, I couldn't do it. Just try figuring out some jumping patterns and land carefully on that tiny platform. I think that's the best you can do. Sorry, man.

Haha, thanks anyway. I think there must be a decent method to that third phase...but damned if I can figure it out.

I really love this game. It's one of the relatively few games ever that has me bothering with 100% completion.

I loved this game as well, much better than i expected it to be.

Phil, if you happen to figure out a good strategy please post it, as i the very thought of that boss in Hard mode is what's kept me from really attacking the Hard mode at all.

Holy crap, that made it look so easy.

Thanks for the video! I'll try it later with varying success, and thanks for the awesome game!

Hi everyone, glad to hear that you're enjoying our game!

Here's a video of defeating the boss on hard without getting hit. Hope this helps.

Wow, that did indeed look incredibly easy! Thanks for that, and i'll definitely second the thanks for developing this great game!

Wow, that video helped loads. Not only did I beat it, but I did so under the time limit and without taking damage! Thanks!

Beat it on hard mode! The tower boss was definitely the toughest one. Now I'm on to the speed medals, which are...well...even harder than hard mode was.
