Topic: 6+ Multiplayer games for DS

I'd love to hear of great 6+ multiplayer games available for the DS. We play a lot of DS where I work (every week for the last 2 years) and though we love Mario Kart, I've found there to be very few great 6+ player games after that one. Any recommendations? (if it will work with single-cart play that would be preferred)

Suggestions for games I've used in Past DS meetup events.

1) Daigasso Band Bros DX 8 Player Download Play and Multicart Gather up to 8 people together to form your own band and each play a different instrument to make music. The game comes with around 30 or so songs. But you can also download another 100 more. This game is an import title (Japanese Language) But it's still fairly easy to get to grips with. Some instruments support Rumble Pak as well.

2) Advance Wars Duel Strike -8 player download play/4 Player Multicart play
The Download play mode for Advance Wars Duel Strike offers a combat mode. Once all players have downloaded you can host the game and start to play. Combat mode has you move your tank/troops around a small map and shooting the enemy-this is all real time combat instead of turn based. You can select your CO, weather options, funds and Map to play on. As a bonus you can also take away the Combat mode to play as a 1 player game as well with 3 levels of difficulty setting. The Multicart mode is the normal Advance Wars game. Choose a map from the very large collection (pre-deploy, deployed, teams, funds, and fog of war, etc) You can also trade your own design maps in Multiplayer mode as well. 3) Pictoimage- Features 8 player download play and a variety of modes as well.

Thanks for the Daigasso Band Bros DX suggestion, that one sounds very interesting...why doesn't NOA localize more of their Japanese games? I'll never understand that.
I forgot AWDS. We did try that one twice, it wasn't a hit in the 8-player mode. They killed that mode for Days of Ruin didn't they?
Pictoimage sounds interesting, I'll have to see if I can pick that up on the cheap.

Metroid Prime Pinball and Mario Hoops 3-on-3 feature 6 players or more.

Pinball was on my list, but I hadn't listed Hoops. Do you know if Mario Hoops a multi-cart 6 player game or single-cart? (it's hard to find that one anymore, though I personally really enjoyed it)

Brain Age 2 has multiplayer! How do they pull that off?

It's both, only you need multicart play to play a pickup game.
