Topic: "Create With Amiibo!" Concept

This spawned from an idea by @ChuJelly (Thank you:))

Think of and picture the upcoming Mario Maker. Now forget it. The thoughts of the design of this concept are similar, if not in some ways the same, but this is different. Take Mario Maker's level-creating interface and put that on the eShop for free. That's it, for starters. That will have the whole thing's title which is (Insert_Idea_Here), and would hopefully not be a very large download. You open up this program/game/level creator and then are prompted to scan an amiibo. For every amiibo you scan, you unlock a theme you can download to create 2D platforming levels with, as well as being able to use the characters you've scanned in to play as on those levels. (Note: This unlockable downloadable content, which would hopefully still be then free..or at least very cheap depending on the amount of content it actually would unlock, would be set up in this way so that you would not have to have all this extra data downloaded for things you don't have access to, assumingly because you do not have the amiibo to unlock its theme). Each character from the "same universe" would unlock more and different items to use, as well as their character for playing. This could be set up so that either each theme pack would be character specific OR that say you scan Luigi first, and that would unlock "Mushroom Kingdom Pack 1", and then scanning another Mario character would unlock "Mushroom Kingdom Pack 2", followed by 3 and etc. for as many packs as characters that exist in that universe that are made into amiibo.
Then, you could create your levels, mixing and matching themes from all these different character's universes into these platforming levels that would otherwise never happen in a retail release...except for MAYBE a few challenges in the "(System Name) Remix" series. You could add elements from Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Country Returns, Metroid, and even some platforming Zelda and more all into one level if you really wanted, provided you have amiibos of characters from those series.
Then, hopefully you would be allowed to share these levels with friends and maybe everybody, possibly with a "like", "Yeah", or rating system which would then allow you to a.) See how your levels stack up with everyone else and b.) Find other awesome levels that people have shared.

Who knows if something like this would ever realistically happen? I think it would add even more "must-have quality" to amiibo, and would be well worth it from both ends of the spectrum (Nintendo and even possibly 3rd parties and then the comsumers).

What do you all think? Got any ideas of your own? If you were to support this idea full-through, what kinds of levels would you set out to make?

I would probably buy every single amiibo if this happened, no lie. Or at least one rep for each franchise.

See what I mean? It would make more people feel like that and buy even more amiibo, which would make Nintendo happy. And I'm sure that we, the consumers, would be more than happy with the product, especially because it will have Nintendo's polish and quality.

cool idea.

level editor. get tiems and characters with each amiibo for free. but you should be able to purchase content even without amiibos too

It sounds like a good idea...but it seems to be more work than it's worth
