I have 50$ and this is something I have to spend wisely because I won't get this kind of cash again for a long time.......
The idea for me is that I want to try out that Rusty's Real Deal Baseball games. But besides that I want to know great games on the eshop that I can get. Definitely getting Shovel Knight and Pirate's Curse but then I want to get some Zelda games on VC as well.
So has anyone played Rusty's Real Deal Baseball in Japan or know how this game is? or if you have any suggestions of what games that I can get besides SteamWorld Dig, let me know.
Gunman Clive ($2; Fantastic platformer with some replay value)
Retro City Rampage DX ($10 I think; 8 bit GTA set in the 80s)
Mutant Mudds ($8; Tough but fun platformer)
Cave Story ($10; The definitive version of one of my all time favorites)
VVVVVV ($7; All around excellent gravity platformer thing with high difficulty)
Rhythm Thief: My favorite game. It's on the eShop now and has a demo. It's for you if you can fall in love with a quirky story and animated cutscenes, and if you try to be really pretentious and fancy. The best rhythm game ever made.
HarmoKnight: My second favorite game. I play it for hours every week. Try the demo. If you don't mind replaying games this will last for a very, very, very long time. It's more challenging than Rhythm Thief if you get hardcore about it.
Liberation Maiden: I'm biased. You'll like it if you love anime cutscenes, flashy j-pop, stylish graphics, and replaying.
Cube Tactics: Currently playing. Also has stylish graphics and invites hours and hours of replayability.
Gunman Clive: Decent but unmemorable.
VVVVVV: The most pixel-perfect platformer you'll ever play. It's one of those sadistic games and I don't recommend it at all.
Mighty Switch Force: Again, not fun at all when played for fun, and all about speedrunning. Also takes up a ton of memory. Never finished and deleted.
Donkey Kong (Gameboy).
Liberation Maiden.
3D Galaxy Force 2.
Fractured Soul.
Kokuga.
Nano Assault Ex.
Steamworld Dig.
Gunman Clive.
I wouldn't go for Mutant Mudds / Mighty Switch Force under any circumstances regardless of what the reviews might imply. (Read the Wii U review for Mutant Mudds that is much closer to what it actually is).
