Dragon Quest VII before the servers get shut down.

I'm a Dream Fighter. Perfume is Love, Perfume is Life.
been like 4 years since I last played anything on my Nintendo 3DS but I'm still busy with these games whenever I get to them.
Zelda Ocarina
Luigi's Mansion 2
Monster Hunter 3. last time I played it years ago was when I was trying to defeated the giant Golden thing monster in the water. I was doing pretty good but the stupid quest's timer ran out
This week I beat one of the weird SNK dating sims for the DS, Days of Memories 〜恋はグッジョブ!〜, and also started Mega Man V for GBC which is different from the NES game.
This year I started playing again on my 3DS XL to resolve issues from the past.
In addition to getting back to Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario Maker online before the servers went down, I finished Nano Assault EX (which I had gotten on sale a long time ago), and I also finished Ridge Racer 3D (100 % in Grand Prix mode, very fun and challenging).
And at the moment I'm playing Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove (another game that I bought on a promotion and was forgotten in my backlog drawer).
I'm in the final stretch of the first campaign, having a lot of fun too.
Played Metroid Prime Hunters with my brother this weekend. I’ve been trying to progress through MH4U too. StreetPass Mii Plaza has also been fun, as I try to get StreetPasses on my collage campus.
Started Metroid Prime Federation Force a few days ago. I'm not really sure why it gets the hate it does as it seems like a decent enough game. Granted, I don't really have any nostalgia for Metroid having only played Prime 3, but so far it seems pretty good.
Been getting back into playing SMT IV and continuing to get lost in Tokyo.
Also tried playing Luigi's Mansion 1 again and was reminded that I don't like how Luigi's Mansion controls on 3DS with one stick (the nub on the New models doesn't count because that thing sucks) and motion controls
@dmcc0 I have no clue why people hate on Federation Force, it’s such a good game!
As for the topic of this forum, I just got Monster Hunter Generations for me and my brother to introduce him to the series. I’ve been having fun experiencing some of the visual upgrades from 4 Ultimate too!
I'm playing Picross DS. The zoom-in for larger puzzles is quite weird. I got used to it but I get why they didn't have as large puzzles in any of the 3DS games.
Team Kirby Clash Deluxe has been a regular game to play on my 3DS for ages. It is the worst Kirby game by a country mile.
It is not a bad game by the standards of playing a game, in that it is fun to play the game on a basic level. It's basically a beat em up boss fight game but with modern Kirby mechanics. But it is so the exact type of mobile trash with trash monetization and little justification of enjoying a game to play for any reasonable amount of time nearly ever while demanding either real world money (and you can't even do anymore, for better or worse) or endless boring grinding for an experience more repetitive than a Warriors game in far less time. I do not understand why a person would play a game in this style if they have ever played traditional, quality, complete video games on consoles or PC.
Someday I will be done with this game for the sake of having completed the...well...2nd to last Kirby game I have left to play on this system, and I can go back to playing games that exist to be fun on 3DS. The implication of this existing for Kirby of all series, even for an irrelevant side game, makes me sad.
Now excuse me, its time for my daily crystal apples.
I've not done this daily at this point but I've "played" enough to say its August, this game is absurd and bad. I wanted to have had it done before I played the 2018 Kirby games, but at this rate it will have to keep going at the same time.
My only direct exposure to mobile game mechanics are this and Xenoblade 2 crystals and both have done nothing but confirm my negative assumptions about mobile game mechanics. Please stop making video games like this.
Decided to order EOV to revisit it. Since I've never really got a chance to REALLY dig into it. But it stands out in terms of mechanics & story. Mostly the story since it's more self-contained in itself rather than connect it to previous entries. EO Nexus I'm skipping...maybe.

DO YOU HEAR ME!?!
The most recent 3DS game I finished was Metroid: Samus Returns and I LOVE it. Only my third Metroid game that I've completed (alongside Dread and Prime 1 Remastered) and the only one where I've obtained 100% map/collectible completion.
I prefer my games to be more linear and structured, so I really enjoyed the structure of this game and that backtracking was generally optional.
