Only been a 3DS owner for a year so a bit of a latecomer, but I've noticed how much western releases have slowed down. I mean Activision don't release Call of Duty no more, UbiSoft not making any of their big games like Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon for it or anything interesting for that matter.
I've noticed I'm having to play JRPG's mostly, luckily I enjoy them but why won't Nintendo get the big western publishers back on board? There's only so many JRPG's and Nintendo games you can play. Just feels so limited right now.
I don't think Activision ever made Call of Duty for 3DS and I think the 3Ds only got 1 Splinter Cell and 1 Ghost Recon. I find a lot of developers in general no longer make portable games and so the portable market is mostly indie.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

If you've only had it for a year you should have a big choice of back releases to choose from which are alot cheaper than buying day one new releases. Silver linings...
