Topic: The NEXT Zelda 3DS Game

If there is to be another Zelda 3DS game (and I don't think there will be) it would probably be a remake of a Majora's Mask or one of the Wii/Gamecube titles, which I think isn't doing the series any justice. I would want another brand new Zelda game but maybe with the same graphical flare and gameplay as Ocarina of Time, similar to how A Link Between Worlds was similar to A Link to the Past.

Only time shall tell.

No it won't. Wind Waker didn't make that big of an impact and neither will this.

I don't want GREZZO working on Majora's Mask. They wouldn't be able to do it justice.

We might not get another one... but you never know. I feel like Majora's Mask is possibly on the agenda. I mean, the new generation playing OOT3D should also be able to play the Hero of Time's next chapter on the same system. I also feel like it would be less time consuming compared to doing another game.
I wouldn't mind either way though.
If they did an original game... I'd say they'd do the adult timeline. I feel like Zelda Wii U will take place in the child timeline since they haven't touched on it since TP (not counting OOT3D). ST is adult timeline (2009). SS is unified timeline (2011). ALBTW is the downfall timeline (2013). Newest game would make sense to be in the child timeline. Then it would make sense for a return to the adult line. That's assuming they go in a pattern though, which they probably won't.

I'm serious in what I said earlier. They already have the landscape of Hyrule through Ocarina of Time 3D, they could create an all-new Zelda game based around that world and that graphics engine and it would be an instant classic. All they would really have to do is develop a new story, relocate some dungeons, and create some new enemies and they'd have a brand new Zelda game based around the world of Ocarina of Time and it would probably sell gangbusters.

Who knows what Nintendo has planned but I do think another all-new Zelda on the 3DS would be smart, it's a console mover and the series is still beloved by millions around the world.

That's what Miyamoto said when making Ocarina but then dropped it as they felt a re-hash wouldn't be worth while.

Maybe a sequel to the gbc games or perhaps a remake I want those games to look fantastic!

Exactly. It's not like they mucked about with the story of OoT. Or even the gameplay, really. Given their experience with the last game, I'd say that they are ideal candidates to do Majora.

one thing i would really love to see happen, is a complete remake of the very first zelda, simply named The Legend of Zelda. i was almost expecting this to happen on gamecube when little was known about twilight princess, before it even had that name announced.

I realise the chances of this happening are virtually impossible but id love to see a remake of the minish cap using the link between worlds engine!

Anyone else think this (although highly unlikely) would be good?

More realistically a majora's mask remake would be pretty sweet!

I'm not really a Zelda fan but it's always been my desire to play a version of Four Swords on a handheld since the introduction of the DS.

next i'd like them to remake MM for the 3DS

and then......i'd love to play A Link to the Past on the 3DS
just make it happen already.. sigh
