I played for around 40-50 minutes. It's a lot of fun, but the lack of communication can sometimes be a problem. One of the groups I played with got stuck on a section in the fire temple for almost 10 minutes because one of the other players didn't realize it was a block puzzle. I'm still getting the game, but it's disapponting that there's no voice chat because the messages you can display are not always enough to help other players.
@Storytime7 I had trouble there at first haha. We were trying to figure out what to do, I think one person was starting to get an idea, but we died... Figured it out shortly after that though and made it through.
Did 2 and a half dungeons with an awesome group, but suffered from lag for alot of it. Maybe it's cuz my brother is playing Destiny and is hogging up all the bandwidth.
The game is super fun! And hard. When you have 3 non-communicating team mates, even simple things take some time. Which, admittedly, I kind of like. It lengthens the gameplay as everyone tries to coordinate what needs to be done. And I have always wanted a really difficult zelda game. So, this game is just as fun as I expected when they announced it at E3. Can't wait for next friday

The demo is really fun, though I think there should be a push command on the touch screen since my group didn't know we could push the block until after we lost a life lol.
This game is actually pretty cool. I though it would be worse but it's a neat mechanic. Played each dungeon once. I beat the fire dungeon and woods dungeon (my group kept dying in the bomb one). It was sad when I had to leave as my group kept wanting me to stay but I had to leave. That will be a problem for me when the game comes out. Overall it was enjoyable with no lag.
There are already some things I think Nintendo should consider adding in:
An option to automatically add random friends if you find a great group.
More speech options. Such as "Over there" or "push!". I found myself really wanting those commands. And maybe a clearer "sorry" for when i accidentally blow my team mate off the edge. That happened plenty of times.
@DarthNocturnal: Were we in the same group? Lol, that's exactly what happened. My team died because that same player (a red link) ran off the edge right after we solved that puzzle, so I disconnected because I didn't want to go through that puzzle again.
@Blast: Push it onto the lava geyser on the right, throw two links onto the block, have one of the links pick up the other, and then use an item to hit the switch.
OMG! SO MUCH FUN! I'll definitely be buying this game!
I really like what I've played so far. My teammates were with me for all the dungeons, so we kinda adapted to our strengths and weaknesses. The picture chat is charming and quite effective for expressing our emotions (especially the shrug picture), but I'm not gonna lie; I wish there was some form of voice chat to speeden things up. There's nothing quite more frustrating than running around and trying to tell your teammates what to do through picture chat, even though your message comes through sometimes. The fact that there's some sense of disorganization isn't helping things either... Oh well.
But I'll say this again, I had pure fun playing the demo... I was even kind of sad to see the teammates who stuck with me for all the 3 dungeons leave.
My favorite dungeon's definitely the Fire Temple. I love Moldorm. I thought it was a very creative boss fight. It was even better when my teammates and I figured out what to do, and we were in perfect harmony and teamwork.
Yup. I'm 100% sold. ☺😊😄
@Iggly: Huh. My teammates and I actually figured out that we were supposed to push the block (I mean, it's sorta obvious, especially when you see those red tiles. It all just adds up). What we had trouble with was telling each other WHICH SIDE to push on. I guess that wasn't obvious at first, or maybe we needed time to figure out how to get the block where it needed to be.
I also had some serious lag. It was only for a few times, though (But still annoying).
@Operative: I was thinking the same thing about the friend thing, too. I would so love to add the teammates I had...☺😊
EDIT: Oh, and I would very much appreciate more picture chat icons. I just hope I don't start looking around for them when I need them...
@Operative: Agreed. Your points are valid and I hope they include an update at some point to address all or some of the issues you have mentioned. Excellent idea.
@yokokazuo: What does that dress do, again? Oh, right, it increases your odds of finding hearts.
Nah, I think I'll just stick with the Kokiri Suit. I find firing 3 arrows very convenient. I must say that the Spin Attack Attire is awesome, though! 😄
