A six player tank game with troopers each with their own special abilities will be duking it out with each other to not have your tank be reduced to scrap metal.

Single player, local and download play will be supported with more game modes on the way.

Will be releasing....ummm....somewhere this winter.

Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.

Looks neat, but they barely showed anything. It's an eShop game, so it may not have a ton to show in the first place (as in it's clearly simple), but I still think the guys in the trailers were mostly just driving around when most games like it would be pretty hectic...

Still haven't heard anything more about it. I love Nintendo's mini-type games......

In the game, you can have your favorite trooper ride tanks and use special abilities. There are 30 single-player missions which have objectives like reaching the goal within the time limit, or fighting a giant tank. Stages have variation like lush grasslands, deserts with undulations, and a port with a dense formation of warehouses.

36 types of tanks and 13 troopers are included, each with different stats and abilities. You can pair up the tanks and troopers as you like to match up with the stage and battle features.

Tank Troopers supports up to six players in local multiplayer, including Download Play. However, in Download Play, everyone uses the same tank and trooper.

I'm hoping a review is out soon as this looks fun but with a lot of questions.

Still no review from NintendoLife, this is a first party release! We're waiting!!

I've read a few reviews on it on some smaller sites and it seems to be good fun if you have friends/family that you can do local multiplayer with. It's also not too expensive. We have six 3DS consoles so with even one copy, we could have a six player multiplayer experience. Doesn't seem worth buying the game to only play the single player though.

judging by the (woeful) eshop review system and the scores on metacritic i'd say it's heading for a solid:

6/10 'meh'

Why would anyone make a tank game this day and age without Multiplayer online. Honestly how often has anyone played local multiplayer up to 6 players on anything in North America? I once played Dragon Quest IX local Multiplayer. Japan only got Online Multiplayer for dragon Quest IX luckily we got local multiplayer for it.......................oh wait! At least they can stamp the multiplayer option on the game. Poop!

Still playing 3DS but will have Switch soon for multiplayer with friends. I miss you guys! Adam, Joni, Gavin and the rest of the Blue Rogues from the Phantasy Star Zero Days.
