I came across this on another forum I'm a member of. Apparently, this is a leaked image from the internal assets of the nintendo.co.uk website. It claims the Super Mario release date as August 2011 (for Europe).
Here is where it is taken from (unfortunately you can't get in without making an account which involves getting permission from Nintendo to access this part of their site): http://assetslibrary.nintendo.co.uk/
August starts in two weeks. And Nintendo doesn't do 'surprise' launches with major titles like this. Expect this game to release in Europe around the holidays- same time as US and Japan, pretty much. Could be a placeholder date or just an error, really.
EDIT: Also, upon looking closely, Kid Icarus is not coming out in Europe this year (even Summer).
Skyward Sword as well. Yeah, either this is outdated... Or just some errors. I think it's the former, though.
Remember when every 3DS game this year was coming out the exact same day according to Gamestop?
Why would anyone rely on GameStop? Thats like not knowing the answer to something then asking yourself for the answer and "getting" the answer. Doesn't make sense and is a waste of time.

The Nintendo assets library site is probably the least reliable place for release dates — often it doesn't even have accurate release dates for games that are already out! Even Gamespot is more accurate
Yeah, this coming from the press site that has more than 200 games listed as TBA despite the fact that most of them have been out for years... I just consider August, September etc. to be placeholders for "end of year".
