One thing that's annoying is you can't use Streetpass while you're connected to the Internet. I live near a high school where I'm sure kids will be walking right past my house with their systems. Only way to use Streetpass with them is to delete the Internet connection setting off my 3DS so that it doesn't connect to my home wi-fi, because there doesn't appear to be any way to toggle just the Internet off to use Streetpass.
I'd probably run into 5 to 50 people, especially if I'm in Tulsa or at the mall.

Yeah we might, however if the 3DS lets you see the usernames/gamertags you interact with. You might no have much trouble identifying me....I usually endup going to Arrowhead Mall because its closer (which is where I'm getting mine, on launch no doubt there would be a crowd hanging out and playing 3DS at the food court). I'm sorry I hadn't replied before now. Did you get your 3DS? Love to exchange friend codes and all. I've never been to Tokyo 'n Tulsa. Do they ever sell video game memorabilia and soundtracks there? Always wanted to go to a convention like that, just never gotten to. I've only been to a fairly busy Wal-Mart here with my 3DS and no Street Pass hits yet.

Yes I have mine and yes they do have vender's that sell that kind of stuff at Tokyo in Tulsa.

Or they don't feel like their streetpass should be on because of the city they live in and also you know batteries.

I live in a suburb near montreal, but i work downtown, so i will meet 3ds users eventually, there is no doubt about it. And there is a store dedicated to video games and magic the gathering in my suburb, and it seems to go well. the guy didnt sell much 3ds so far, but still... so far, only one shown it Mii on my 3ds.
I've been surprised. I visited my girlfriend in university over the weekend. She lives in a small, coastal town that i never expected to get any hits from, but lo and behold, i got two over the weekend! i don't expect any in my own town, but i live near a city that i go to often, so i think i've got okay chances.

I took my 3DS to college today (making sure it was in Sleep Mode with StreetPass on) and played some SSF4 between classes, but I didn't get any hits.

I went to Disneyland. Got about 11 hits. So yeah, that place is good. Also, sporting events like baseball and football games are good. I got a hit or two at one of those. Also, public transit stations are good places.

Well, I live in sub-suburban Norway, and there don't seem to be a lot of gamers around. The ones I do meet up with are pretty much just into World of Warcraft or something. I don't see a lot of hits happening outside of maybe Oslo. I still keep mine on me when I go out, though, just in case
