Topic: SpeedX 3D

anybody who downloaded it and can say how it plays?

I'm probably going to download it soon. I'll get back to you with my thoughts if I'm not too into Sword of Hope 2. :3

It's cheap, so I'm downloading it now.
Might play for a little bit before bed so will post my thoughts.

Only played for a little while, got a bit bored but a lot of that could be due to being too tired.
It's not the most amazing game in the world, but it's simple and relatively fun.
With a few different modes, there seems to be enough content to recommend it for the low price that it costs based on what I've played so far.

Great for the price, the 3d is brill, infact makes my eyes bleed! well worth the £3

I received my review copy today and I really suggest you buy it! The 3D effect is absolutely awesome! It's well worth the cheap price!

Other then 3D effect, are there any advantages over the "freemium" Android version?

are there online-leaderboards? that would be nice

The lowest score I have given a 3DS game... ever.

No sensation of speed, clunky controls, inappropriate first-person perspective, and no variety whatsoever between the gameplay modes or the racing.

You're better off getting that DSiWare tunnel racing game. Shocking stuff.

well said. played the game for 40mins now and it is just awesome.

the graphics are super simple but the 3D makes it look absoloutly stunning. the gameplay is very intense.
one of the best 3DSware games so far!

It's times like this I wish every game on the eShop had a demo, like how every XBLA game has one. It'd certainly help in making this purchase.

Pyramids got one, as did Mutant Mudds, but I know exactly what you mean, buy it from within the download title.

As for the clunky controls, did you try the circle pad? The NL review said it's much better than the tilt control included in both this version & the mobile version.

I knew it was gonna be a good game, so I will be getting it when it comes in NA.

I just purchased Candle Route (DSiWare) for only $1.99 + tax, and I was actually surprised by how well the game played. I guess we're (Europe is) receiving another bargain on the eShop.

Man, the opinions on this game seem almost as polarizing as Deadly Premonition!

I really like it, in fact I couldn't believe how cheap it was! Great price, fantastic music, fun game

Excellent little game! Also a very nice way to show to others how good the 3D actually works. The graphics may be simple but they are very effective and immersive; those tunnels really suck you in!
