Topic: Something slipped quite early about the 3DS?

Just read the latest team blog post over at Wiiloveit, and something quite interesting was discovered at a 3DS demo event in Canada.

My reaction..... You know what, I'll be calm, until I find out what exactly they're sending our way.

Considering Nintendo reps were also saying that the DSi would have a Virtual Handheld, i'd trust what they have to say now about anything about as far as i could throw 'em. Without something official to back that up, this is rumor at best.

Point taken, TBD.

Oh my lord if they do, I am making a thread dedicated to laughing at everyone here who wishes they waited for whatever cool new color.

Then it will be locked for trolling but I'll have my lols anyways.

How about we make a thread for the darnest things reps say these days?

I don't want to wait for a different colour 3DS when I can have a perfectly good blue one now?

Please note, this is the only rational response to this rumour.

I look at it like WaltzElf. Let them release new colors, doesn't bother me much. Even if I knew for a fact that a purple 3DS (my most wanted color) was gonna be released 1 month after the US launch, I would still settle for the color i'm getting, black. I'm not gonna wait to buy a new Nintendo console because of something as petty as system color.

Good, guess people like me who aren't getting one this soon gets a nice variety to pick from then

Thats pretty good, so if they are going to release colours that soon. Those who didn't have money for launch can have choices. ^.

Reps say a lot of things. While i can't deny that the 3DS won't get more colors, I highly doubt it'll be this summer. I guess the earliest will be this holiday season

I'll hex this rumour so it becomes fake.

My guess is the person meant "2 months" the way people say "2 seconds" when really it means a bit longer than that. I can't imagine it literally being that soon, unless it's for special bundles for Zelda or Mario Kart.

Zelda edition 3DS perhaps? Hope so
