Topic: Reasons why you own a 3DS

after searching, i couldn't find any threads for this, but if there is, im sure this will be redirected. anyhow, try and list the reasons why you bought a 3DS. i bought it for the games. i was excited mainly for Luigi's Mansion 2 (now known as "Dark Moon"), fire emblem: kakusei, OoT3D, pretty much every game that hasn't come out yet, but has been announced. it's been a year, and i haven't gotten these games yet >:[
so, why did you buy a 3DS?

The games...pretty sure that's going to be in all the replies too, lol. Though when I was playing Ocarina of Time on the Wii, I couldn't stop thinking about what it would look like in 3D, lol. So I guess the 3D is somewhat my second reason. xD

Well that's a good question...
I was excited for Animal Crossing 3DS (New leaf)
And Luigis mansion, and paper Mario.

But I wasn't really planning on buying a 3DS anyway..,

then the 3DS XL came out and I ran straight to the store and bought one.

To pretend that my DSi evolved.

The commercials overcame me, compelled me, and stripped me of my will.
So I bought it.
I came for the 3d and I stayed for the games.

A few weeks prior to the 3DS release, my DS Lite commited suicide by jumping out of my hands and landing on the floor. The hinge came apart and the top screen no longer displayed colours correctly. So naturally, I had to wait until the 3DS came out to replace it.

Coincidence? No. CONSPIRACY. Well played Nintendo.

The games mainly. Technically my wife bought it for Kingdom Hearts, but it's essentially mine now that she's been severely disappointed. I've loved Mario 3d Land, New Mario 2, Ocarina, Kid Icarus, Mario Kart 7, and all the Advance games that came with the ambassador program. Thinking of buying Dead or Alive, Star Fox 64, and looking forward to Fire Emblem Awakening, Luigi's Mansion, Super Smash Bros, and any Metroid, F-Zero, Pokemon, Zelda, or other interesting games they release in the future. Nintendo knows how to run a game system that's for sure. I also love Netflix, the web browser, swapnote, streetpass, Mii Maker, Face Raiders, AR games, and Virtual Console so even if my wife hadn't bought it i would have gotten one. Considering getting an XL if they ever make a good multiplayer Killer App.

The 3D was intriguing, but mostly the games (OoT3D, Kingdom Hearts 3D, Dead or Alive Dimensions, and Kid Icarus: Uprising mostly).
