So I went to check out my Streetpasses I received for the day when I noticed that all my puzzle pieces are gone. I have the out-of-box ones, but not Luigi's Mansion 2, Mario Tennis Open, etc puzzle pieces. It did not affect my Find Mii II progress though.
EDIT: Also my 3DS sometimes says SD card had been removed.
either your SD card or the SD card port is damaged... try getting a new SD card(take this oppotunity to get a bigger one XD) if it doesn't help send it to repair...
but it's probably the 3DS because as far as I know the puzzles are saved in the internal memory(or am I wrong?)

yeah if you blow saliva by accident you may cause a short circuit and break the system! or make the LEDs go psychedelic changing slowly from color to color and not turning off

Yeah, you guys beat me to it! I was gonna say that the blowing into the slot probably had nothing to do with it working after taking the SD card out and putting it back in.
My 3DS said once that my SD card had been removed when I know it hadn't. The only thing wrongwith my SD card, to my knowledge, is my highscores on all 6 of the 3DS Classics games has been erased.
I had a problem with my 3DS not reading the SD Card consistently. Chances are, the contact ports on the card have become worn, so the problem will only get worse with time. I'd recommend getting a new SD Card soon, before the data on the card corrupts and you lose data permanently.
