The results actually surprise me, I didn't think I put that much time into a snake game. Found it relaxing to play something simple on some nights, like it for that. Parascientific Escape reminds me, I grabbed the third game awhile back when it was on sale, so I'm anticipating plenty of hours will be put into that too.
Also, a lot of Pokemon and Sonic. I could understand Sonic being played a lot as it's one of my favorite series, but I find myself to be a casual Pokemon fan. Someone who plays the games from time to time. So seeing them surprised me too.

There's something full-on fishy with these results, as for some reason, Super Street Fighter IV doesn't show up, when I know I spent over 100 hours on it. The game doesn't appear at all in my Activity Log. So take these with a grain of salt. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a DS game, like Pokemon Black, or Phantom Hourglass that was also supposed to be here.

Kind of a weird list. So much Pokémon. White 2 and Y include multiple playthroughs meanwhile Shuffle is a game I've been playing almost daily since it came out. I'm so close to completing it now. I need to S rank and catch the last 2 Expert stages, finish one mission from mission card 9 and get an S rank from 41 UX stages, 30 of which I've yet to play at all. Progress is quite slow since it's a free-to-play game but I like it that way. Haven't spent any money on it.
While Mario's Picross wasn't my first Picross game, that honor goes to Picross 3D, it's the one that made me fall in love with Picross. I really liked Picross 3D too but 2D puzzles can be solved so much faster. The reason why Mario's Picross is so high on my list is thanks to its time trial mode. I spent more time doing time trials than I spent completing the game otherwise.
Pokémon Picross, similarly to Shuffle, has so many hours thanks to its free-to-play model. It also just has lot of puzzles. I almost completed it but I refuse to use the powers that the Pokémon have in that game so I have some time trials I never finished because the they assume people use the powers to clear them. I think I have 20 or so stages left.
It's fun to compare the time I've spent on these Picross games to Picross e which was a complete disappointment. Picross e took me 12 hours to complete and is 73rd on my most played list. I also own Picross e2 but seems like it's one of those games that aren't tracked by activity log anymore thanks to the limit.
I still wonder how it decides which games it will forget about and which ones it'll keep. There are plenty of games I've played much earlier and have less play time. Yet it keeps them instead of a game that I've played for more than 10 hours.
@Kyloctopus Seems like you've hit the activity log limit too. I have no idea which games I'm missing since I've played so many. That's a nice top 10 you've got there. Also glad to see I'm not the only one who has played too much Shuffle.

I'm still using my 3DS quite a bit, mainly playing Miitopia at the moment. There are plenty of games I still want to get for it, and I expect my top 10 will look a bit different in a few years once I've played some more RPGs. I don't know why I have so many hours on the Internet Browser, it's mostly from the first year or two after I got my original 3DS so I don't really remember using it that much.

I'd say my 3DS is semi retired by now, been playing way more on the Vita and on the PC. I still have games I want to play on it like the Luigi's Mansion port.

@Justifier That's some beautiful Pokémon numbers you've shared there. I'd never had a handheld before my N3DS in 2015 and had never played any Pokémon, but I'm in the middle of Yellow at the moment and planning to play through some of the series (I have White, White 2, Soul Silver and Y currently waiting in my backlog). What have your favourite memories been and do you have a favourite Pokémon game?
@Late Are all the non-main series Picross games digital only? And what did you make of HarmoKnight? I really liked the demo, but so far in the full game I'm getting the feeling they used the best tunes in the demo.

@gcunit I uninstalled Pokemon Shuffle after a year or so, it's a neverending loop of satisfying visual effects, grinding and almost mindless gameplay that kept me away from better games.

The * are to note Nintendo DS games to avoid any confusion. My original 3DS has been broken for about 5 years now, so I don't have that data. I would say, besides the first couple of years, my 3DS systems have mostly been used to play Nintendo DS games and not the platform's exclusives.
@gcunit : Nnooo!!!!!!!!! Stay the hell away from it. It's a trap! A disgusting, putrid, and horribly addictive F2P trap. After being helplessly addicted for what seemed unending, I finally gave it up and swore off any F2P games in future (not that I was even remotely interested in F2P games anyway, but Pokémon is my gaming kryptonite).
From memory, I think I put in over 800 hours (being my most played 3DS game by a significant margin). It's such an infuriating POS of a game, with stages so difficult that they are designed to bleed you dry (with still no guarantee of a favourable outcome even after PAYING for in-game jewels), the game became more infuriating than anything else. I tried to refrain from paying for any jewels and tried to rationalise it to myself given how many hours I had poured into the game (and promotional periods would include additional incentives to bait us).
I really was quite pathetic with how frequently I would play the game, trying to get a session in every 2 1/2 hours when the cool-off period was over.
I'm glad I have overcome it, but now that the game is more or less "complete" (I believe updates have ceased some time ago), I may consider going back to finish it off, but I am reluctant for reasons above.
A prolific YouTuber even quit the game after the game had become so insufferable that it was no longer enjoyable.
