Haha the whole thing was just so ironic. On the same day, for the first time ever, I decided I should try to find a shiny pokemon, by using Pokéradar. I went on doing that for a couple of hours until I accidentally broke my chain and ran out of the energy to start over. A little later a friend asked to check which friend safaris I had, and noticed that you now had a third possible pokemon to find. So my friend entered and ran around in the grass while I sat next and fiddled with my phone. And all of a sudden, after just a minute or so, my friend yells out "SHINY!". And then it killed itself.

As mentioned, I had been trying to find shiny for hours(have never encountered a shiny in Pokemon X Before) and then my friend randomly encounters one after a few minutes. Almost unrealistic, I still have a hard time myself believing it happened.
