The stream just ended. I only got to see maybe the last 10 minutes or so but I don't think there was anything new. The Sun and Moon trailer was the same one from the announcement.

Gonna be good though. Makes E3 look that more exciting for Nintendo.

@DarthNocturnal: Ugh. Now I'm a tad less excited (still very excited, nontheless). I wonder what the trailer meant when it said "it all comes together" after listing each generation. I think at the very least Game Freak will pick elements from each of these generations and put them in Sun/Moon. I do hope multiple regions make it into the game. Heartgold/Soulsilver did it very well. Why not Sun/Moon?
God first.

@Octane: At least one other region would be nice. It adds extra post game content, which tends to be more challenging than the main game and it really lengthens the game's playability value.
Considering that Gamefreak has spent a longer development time on these two games compared to almost every other Pokemon entry, and the fact that during their development cycle they weren't also working on a filler game like they were when they started development on X and Y (black 2 and white 2 and even ORAS later on to an extent) I wouldn't doubt the games have SOMETHING big going on in them.

Not sure, Kanto was the most boring part of the second generation. Extra areas are always neat, I don't think we need an entire new region for that. Anyway, some people are suggested more than two regions, which I think is just ridiculous.
@Octane Some People don't like battling at facilities. Some people play Pokemon specifically for the adventure of catching and battling NPCS specifically for the rewards and status they give the trainer., lengthening that adventure lengthens the game for them.
I know that I myself don't like facilities. It doesn't feel as important or as official as gyms do, what with the badges and working to fight against the elite 4 and what-not.
Not to mention... I wanna battle Cynthia again. Toughest Champion I've ever battled against, plus she's a cool character. It's also nice to get insight on what's going on in all of the regions AFTER the events of their specific games occurred. That's the best part about it. You get to check up on all of these people and see what they've been doing this whole time. You get closure knowing how their stories turned out after you beat the game.
@Octane: With more than 700 Pokemon I think it's time for some kind of "mass" unification of regions to take place (so so sooooo overdue, by the way). Not to mention, as @BlatantlyHeroic mentioned, more than one region provides excellent replay value. The unification of the regions will make the point of Pokemon — "Gotta catch them all" — even clearer. I'm really surprised nothing like this has been done on home consoles. You could start from your region of your choice and then explore all the regions, catching Pokemon from all sorts of places.
God first.

@Octane: Also the console wouldn't be powerful enough, pretty sure a Pokemon game of that size would be like several times bigger than XCX and that needed 10GB data packs for the physical version to run smoothly.
@Vee_Flames: Yeah, that's not going to happen. It's too expensive to develop and the game will be too expensive to buy.
Is it, though? If compressed properly, I think a Pokemon game like the one I described can be even smaller than XCX and Zelda U. And those games (well, surely the first) were $60; the normal price of retail Wii U games. It's not like the Pokemon games will employ realistic visuals (Good Lord no), so a 3D world like XY/ORAS expanded 7 times shouldn't be a problem (even for the Wii U).

Well, that's what Game Freak themselves said while developing Red for the Game Boy until Iwata came along and compressed everything. Granted, that's just one region but I'm just saying Nintendo has the ability to fit very large stuff into their systems. I wouldn't rule size out just yet.
Octane: Well aren't you just a ray full of sunshine. /s
There's a difference between being pessimistic and having a rational approach to certain things. Just because it's something you want, doesn't mean it's realistic or feasible. A Pokémon game that includes all the previous regions isn't a realistic idea and it's not going to happen.
