I like Passimian's appearance, I've always wanted a lemur-type Pokemon. I'm not too fond of Oranguru, though; it seems too similar to Darmanitan's Zen Mode for my tastes. I'm starting to think Pokemon is overdoing it with the monkeys a bit.
I've been leaning towards getting Sun, but if Lycanroc's forms are exclusive to each version, that offers a bit of a dilemma for me; I like both forms, but I prefer the bipedal form that appears to be a Moon exclusive. Looks like I may be doing some trading after all.
I like what I'm seeing with Pokemon Refresh, it looks as though it adds the things that I thought were missing from Pokemon Amie. The trainer customization also seems to be a plus.
I don't think I was fully sold on Z-Moves until I saw the Extreme Evoboost animation! The only problem with it is that it seems to confirm that there won't be a new Eeveelution this Gen. Pikachu's Z-Move was cool as well, and I think it's cool that the trainer actually throws it. XD
Hurray! no more beating up little kids just to buy full heals to heal a shedinja from poison that died before I left the route.
So the monkey was indeed confirmed (I second it looks more like a lemur), so that's more points for the leaker.
Sucks the rockruff evos are literally exclusives. I guess you'd just have to breed and trade over different forms to evolve them accordingly. I think I'm offically sticking to sun cause I have more interest in midday form, and more daylight as well as mosquito man over werewolf, dusk during day, and cockroach women. Sucks cause I liked moon's box legend better.
I never had a harder decision in picking versions that actually mattered..
I just realized Midday form's abilities and typing..
So it's a pure rock type with sand rush and a priority rock move, thats actually very promising if it's base damage is decent, and thats usually not an issue for rock types with their generally high damage moves, coverage moves, and resistances to back it up.
I just question the usefulness of the priority move if it has sand rush anyway.
Midnight form idk about... none of its abilities are great unless you're switching it on a sleep powder, spore, or dark void and I don't know if it can actually kill or deal with anything that has those moves, might kill a parasect with a rock move but nothing against a breloom or darkrai. It would need high damage and speed inorder to make itself atleast base gallade level usefulness.
The monkies don't seem great competitively but I do see one combo that could be ridiculous, and thats oranaguru's instruct on a mega kangaskhan if megas return.

What a fantastic trailer. The apes seem great in concept and execution, the customisation options seem as deep as we could have hoped for (I wouldn't want anything more complex like face or body proportions), and Catastropika is so cute I might die. Aahhh
Passimian is pretty cool, I definitely prefer it over Oranguru. They both have pretty neat abilities too. Now my last wish is that the dolphin Pokemon from the same leak is real too (but I think it was confused with Wishiwashi)
Stinks that Rockruff evolutions are version exclusive, I feel like it's kind of cheap when they could have made it like Espeon and Umbreon. But still, I prefer the Midday form, and between Solgaleo and Passimian, Sun will definitely be the version I get.
Nice to finally see some info about Poke Bank, but I still wonder how they will handle stats from RBY games (probably randomized unfortunately)
@FriedSquid Surely Wishiwashi looks more like a shark than a dolphin? I don't see how anyone could look at that thing and call it a dolphin.
Youre right, it looks nothing like a dolphin. But if I remember correctly, the same leak that mentioned a rugby monkey mentioned a dolphin too. So far we've not seen it, and if it ends up being untrue then my guess is that whoever made the list didn't get a good look and mistook it for a dolphin. (But I guess you are probably right — I just hope that leak wasn't wrong and we see it soon)
@Meowpheel No, I just got the impression that special pokemon would get unique Z-moves. Pikachu's the only one we know has multiples. Until we hear about the starters' version-exclusive evolutions and their special Z-moves, anyway.
Yeah, no Pokemon so far has multiple signature Z-Moves, and I doubt any of them will (prepares for Charizard/Mewtwo joke). Gigavolt Havoc isn't exclusive to Pikachu - it can be used by any Pokemon that can know an Electric type move.
