Only on about level 45 so far - having come a bit late to the party - but haven't used any coins yet. I only move on once the Pokemon is caught but there are a couple I need to go back an S rank.

Actually, I take that all back. I just went back in, and on my second gem, I got a Sharpedo, but I had a reaaaaally rubbish team from playing the meowth event (Quirkys), so it took me all but one turn to beat it. But I caught it! One turn left! I think it was at 9%, cause they add 2% each move, right? I didn't pay much attention, cause I thought it was a lost cause.

Well, my luck seems to keep on running! I just caught Xerneas at 1% (2 Seconds left) and then Yveltal at about 20% (About 10 seconds left!) : D

But, yeah, I use Mega Gengar, Cherrim, Haunter and Cherubi (Which will be swapped out for Xerneas), for the weekend meowth, because they remove themselves, which gets many more combos and coin drops on the weekend meowth (and you don't have to worry about beating it), so it's all good! It's all about getting as many combos as possible to get more coins.

On a side note, what do people think they'll replace Groudon with? I'd say it'd be one of the other 'Cover Legendaries' Ho-oh, Lugia, Dialga, Palkia, Reshiram, Zekrom, or and event Legendary, a la Keldeo and Mew. If I had to pick one, It'd probably be Dialga as a 70/80 base Steel type, as we're lacking in those.

I'm still hoping for all the unown, think of the hilarious consequences!

Hah, managed to delay Onix a couple of times, got decent combos and Mawile went into Mega form during the combos. lol
...Had 0 turns left when I took him down, but still...awesome. xp

After 5 straight days and 5000 coins for 2 great balls, I finally caught Sharpedo. The real F-ed up part of victory is my gf who only downloaded the event 2 days ago and is no farther than stage 99 (also not so skilled), not just found it on the 2nd used heart but caught it on the first try with less than 20%. I have to admit I was jelly.

I got Celebi in my first try with an S Rank, one had to use 1 Great Ball

Yeah, with the suped-up Pokemon I have, this was definitely the easiest "special" Pokemon to catch. First try, S-ranked, capture rate was around 60.

The good thing is I've been able to just stockpile coins all week after getting the five Safari Pokemon. I'm sitting at over 35,000, even though some Great Balls during the Safari event wiped me out.

Now I just check the game a couple of times a day, play Meowth's stage for 4 minutes, bank the coins, and patiently await the next update.

A lot of you may already know, but the max level for a Pokemon is 10, and it displays a "MAX" when you reach it.

Celebii is quite easy, I had all high chances but didn't get it till the 4th try. Which isn't terrible.

That is great to hear. I was worried that max would be level 99 and I don't think I could ever get anyone that high of level. Right now I am working on S-Ranks but without a lot of money I am basically grinding levels for certain Pokemon.

Milotic is in my opinion the worst stage in the game, S ranking it is gonna be a pain

Ugh... Milotic... Yeah, Milotic's stage is awful. I have just north of 160 S Ranks, so I'm slowly working my way back through to get them all. Froakie is a real pain. I find that if you use the +5 moves, it takes you longer than it would normally...

At least with Banette, it may be a pain, but it essentially S ranks itself (providing you have Banette on your team).

So, predictions for next week's new stages? I reckon there'll be 15 again, finishing up some old evolution lines (like Hippowdon), and adding some new ones in, like Cacnea. I also think that Pinsir will either be in the next batch, or will be the next Mega Competition. They have to have added it for a reason, right?

...Despite this sounding like a very stupid idea, it actually helped, lol. (even though I finished the stage with 0 turns left. xD)

Can't remember, the @ thing doesn't work half the time for me anyways.

Just a reminder. Safari challenge ends this Saturday at 06:00 UTC. I haven't caught Cherrim yet. I've seen it 5 times and I've played the stage at least 100 times. I've even used one Great Ball on it and it didn't work...
