Topic: Pokemon Shuffle

I have been using the Meowth level to train my mega Lucario team in addition to getting coins.

It gives low exp, but it's better than nothing.

Same here. Sometimes it knocks out Meowth before the 4th coin appears.

I think I'm too greedy to effectively grind on meowth xD

I keep going for the 500 coins and either I win too soon or don't win at all

For some reason I can't check in. I completed the main game and felt like seeing if I could complete it w/o using items at all. Of course, the only way to delete save data is to delete and redownload the game itself. Which I did (also got through the tutorial and was able to update my version to 1.1.4 via the Check In feature).

Keeps giving me "Failed to retrieve check in data. Please try again." <---paraphrased and interestingly enough it still has my high score of 14,801 for the Lucarionite competition from my old save data. Probably because same NNID.

Hopefully it just thinks I already signed in today and when the day switches over, it'll let me check in.
EDIT: Apparently playing the Mega Lucario stage "fixed" something and I can check in now.

I tend to grind Ampharos more so for experience than Meowth for coins unless I'm strapped for time and coins. Good way to level up fast by comparison with the 50 moves.

Done with Mega-Gengar, literally zero moves left. I'm hoping he'll be really helpful for all the trouble I went through to get that stone.

This game is definitely pay -or wait- to win. I waited several days until I had coins to buy a few power-ups and I beat Mega Glalie implacably. It's a good game to play every now and then but I would get tired of it if I had to play a lot more. I still prefer other older games like Puzzle Bobble DS. Tetris DS or Puzzle League DS.

Yeah, not looking forward to trying to get past those Mega Stages w/o items. I'm halfway through Sandy Bazaar but I find it funny that I already have Kyogre. I'm not using him this early in the game, it'd be overkill.

Now my Lucarionite top score is 0 and my ranking is blank. I don't have a problem with that, it's something I figured would happen for restarting the game. But the game still registers my high score of 14k on the screen before entering battle, so I can't register a new score just to say I participated and have some ranking (as abysmal as it'll be lol). Hopefully the game recognizes I did participate and gives me a jewel after the tournament is done.

I saved up enough for both items, started the level and then my friends kept distracting me and I did terrible. All that money wasted

That's why you should be like me and not have friends.

We feel you, mate. You still have some time left, get as many coins as possible and do it again. Just hang in there.

And maybe lock out your friends, just a thought.

My family always distracts me when I'm trying to get a high score.

The 3DS has a suspension mode, just close the system and interact with your humans.

After you're done with them, open the system and continue with your game.

Off topic, sorry, but that line made me chuckle, especially when your avatar is a pic of a dog.

Aw man, that's pretty cruddy. That's why I plan to use my items on the last day (just watch the server crash on me)

Well people will probably hate me for this but I bought some gems and got some coins to try the Mega Lucario again.

Got good pokemon, however I'm not doing great, guess I need to be quicker, hope I can win...would like to have the full game.
