I've decided that I'm not going to bother trying to conquer Level 200 Zygarde, and at this rate, I'd never be able to reach Level 300 by Tuesday anyway. I can barely scratch Level 200 Zygarde itemless, and I don't want to go on an all item run only to end up spending a jewel (or two… or three) as well. Not worth it for a single stinkin' RML.
I know my placing will change by the end of the week but I just had to take this screenshot because I don't think I've ever seen myself within the top 50:
That was literally on my second go too.

Had for this week a really good run at grinding Meowth. Yesterday, I racked up more than 17k coins. On a four-day run, including today, I've gained so far 51k, and a total of 76k since I beat Zygarde 50%.
@Rikaria By the way, do you know any upcoming event? I'm torn between spending all my coins on S-ranking a couple of full-item-runs needed stages or prepping for any surprises (some are talking about a new EB, which I doubt).
Nope. Everyone's going in blind this Tuesday, lol.
Eh, that sucks. I'm not going to be able to play the game much for the next couple of weeks so I'm grinding Meowth in order to have enough for the special stages. However, I will also be unable to connect to the internet every day so I fear I'm going to miss some special stages and a competition. Oh well. :

Is it worth it for me to get back into this gamr or jave I already missed out on too much?
Depends on when you last played. If it's anything more than the last couple of months, you definitely missed out on a lot.
It's been becoming harder and harder for newcomers to just jump in and attempt to get everything, particularly the Special Stages. Anyone that's behind also become screwed.
It feels like it has been a year since I have played... so it is probably too late? That is too bad, I started to really miss the game. It was nice to have a quick puzzle game to pull out and enjoy
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
@Rikaria Beg to differ. Recently I took my son's 3DS with me on a trip to NY (for 8 days). I managed to beat all the Special events, but, yes, I had to resort to more coins and special items in order to do so. Also, I managed to defeat Zygarde %50 up to level 100 (I think I might go all the way to level 200, since I'm sitting at level 126).
I'm trying to keep this (a blue Pokemon 3DSXL) and my secondary 3DSXL (Luigi's 20th anniversary) up to date in events. One of them (I can´t remember which) has two Pokes not found in my main one (Alakazam and a Ghost Pokemon I can't remember).
@DefHalan In general, if you have been absent of the game for a year, you have missed the RML craze as well as the introduction of the skill swapper pill. However, I feel that if you really enjoy it, you can still play it. Yes, some stages are bound to be much more difficult, but no impossible. For example, I keep a 3DS up to date, doing every special events as well as s-ranking all levels and getting the unlocked experts in a breeze. So, in the latest EB I managed to beat all 300 levels, easily. In my secondary 3DS, which I play 3 times a week, maybe 30 hearts/week, I´ve only manage to beat level 125. Yes, I could go further, even stage 200, maybe needing the same roughly amount of coins as with my main 3DS.
Most of the new updated was inferred down at Reddit: Zekrom, Zygarde Complete, a new EB. Some adventured and hoped for Charizard-X (like me) and others for even White/Black Kyurem.
However, yes, most where hoping for Feraligatr as well.
Me? I'm just happy there isn't a new Safari with emotion Pokes, nor new stages. I'm also hoping that the latter stages on Diancie's EB are nerfed (280 onwards) like they did with Zygarde%50.
By the way, caught White Kyurem with Attack+ and DD, with 11 moves left (50% catch chance). No Great Ball needed. Still, I didn't S-rank him for some reason...
Just finished the Diancie's EB. 300 stage finished with the same team as before, full item run and, thankfully, no need for a jewel (beat in the very last move!!). Received a skip from lvl296 to 300. (only had to do one of the very hard ones, 295, with a +5Moves and a Attack+).
Had a very successful Meowth run (26k coins), so I finished with 17k coins left. Diancie's EB has become the hardest Eb ever, thanks to the lack of any good Pokemons to deal with it (no BB, no BS either) and two underwhelming Megas. Hope that either M-Aggron or M-Beedrill receive a M-Rayquazza mega power.
EDIT: thinking of using the skill booster L on Togekiss. What are your thoughts?
@dizzy_boy Don't worry about it, if you think that's bad, I only recently reached Deoxys. And I have plenty of S Ranks to do, I think Mewtwo is still locked for me (though I caught it in Special)
Lately I have been too focused on special stages as the main stages became difficult to beat itemless, but now I'm back to trying to burn through the main stages.
