Ew, ignore that. That's almost always a bad recommendation.

Sounds like Civilization, when the computer recommends you to build a city some where, DO NOT MAKE THAT MOVE lol

I know that it is not the best recommendation. I want the box gone. That kinda hand holding is irritating. When you have a game that only gives you so many moves and it keeps saying here choose this one, it kinda make you think Why do you need me here when you seem perfectly content to play yourself.

The box isn't subtle either which makes it very hard to ignore.

Yeah, that is weird that you can't turn that off. It's easy for me to ignore though.

Yeah, I'd turn it off too (in fact that's the first thing I tried to do when I could access the options), but eh, these suggestions are so bad I just see them as a "last option" in case I can't find anything else.

The suggestions are kinda annoying but at the same time you don't have to make that match and normally it isn't the best match out there. I ignore the suggestions all the time.

Well, I got it...I've played better, but it's at least decent. Haven't found the need to pay for more turns yet.

There is nothing here...except for the stuff I just typed...

I'm actually kinda liking it. I'm in the third world (the Japanese festival style world, so level 20-something), and it's nice to pick up inbetween other things. I won't be paying for anything, though.

It does have a few issues, however (outside of the microtransactions). I beat Torchic in one move, yet didn't catch it...

When catching a Pokemon does MAX make it impossible to not catch or is it only 99.9% chance? Anyone know? Has anyone fail to catch while at MAX?

I haven't failed at MAX, but I did catch Mew at only 10%. So far I think I have caught more when I was below 30% than when I was in the sixties, and I failed one at 95%. I'm not sure how reliable their percentages are.

so sad this game has this stupid freemium model. the core gameplay is actually really fun and leveling up your pokemon is addicting. are there similair puzzle games like this with rpg mechanics?

Well that is the thing about randomness, randomly a low percentage can work or a high percentage can fail.

I was thinking Puzzle and Dragons might be similar, but I've never played it so I don't know for sure.

Just wait and try again later.

In other news, I finally caught Mew, yay!

It only had to be at max catchability.

Caught Mew!

Anyway, does anybody know if your pokemon evolve or if you catch the second stages separately?

My avatar is from here

Eel

It seems at least someone caught a shiny pokemon in this game.

About Mew: I endedp up investing my gems in coins to buy 5 extra turns and the first-turn mega evolution (with Kangaskhan) before the level. I finished with 15 turns left and that raised mew's catchability to 50%.

It failed and used the rest of my coins to use a great ball, it raised the c to 100%.
