Turns out that Cresselia just gets harder and harder from 161+ (which is ridiculous considering the prize is a SINGLE RML), and 200 will likely necessitate a full-item run (or at least everything except a Complexity -1).
I'm at 168ish, but I think I'll call it a day. It's costing me a Moves +5 plus Disruption Delay to get past these early stages, and I have no doubt that I'll need even more items as the stages press on.
Porygon did nothing wrong.

Hoo boy... Mega Steelix's repeat is so nasty without Mega Garchomp and a Skill Swapped Entei...
So your suggestion is M-Garchomp? Good to know. I tried it earlier today with M-Charizard and M-Blaziken and the former worked alright but not really well enough.
I don't know how good of an idea it was but I've now got a level 15 Entei with its skill swapped. I still haven't boosted it's skill though so I'm not expecting it to work very well yet.
I'm currently once again grinding Meowth in order to get some skill boosters from the Entei stage, but chances are I'll just use the one(s) I get from this week's Eevee stage on Entei and run with that.

I feel so stupid... I got a Skill Swapper from Cresselia, and should've used it on Entei for this Steelix competition, but I looked up a guide and used it on Suicune instead. :/
Oh well, I had Ho-oh with Pyre with me so that probably helped. My score is 40,000 something so that should be good enough to just get me the Steelixite.
@Nego I don't feel that a change in Entei's skill is that necessary. If you do a fullitem run, including DD, of course, then there is no Entei's to disrupt with at the beginning, an after DD wears off, it just spawns 3 Enteis and then another disruption, it seems.
Having said that, a full lollipoed Entei, with a 115AP is better than any Fire Poke, but I think I'm gonna go the Ground team route, as Garchomp, Groudon, Golurk (or Landorus-T, SL4) and a fully maxed Donphan (13/13, SL3) will yield better results.
@Rikaria I prefer to focus on the new stages. Even though they are gonna be there forever, I really want to S-rank them and train some Pokes (like Hydragion and whatever the new stages bring).
*crosses fingers * I hope one day that will be true... I really don't want to see Shuffle die because of Gen 7 or be replaced by a new game and be forced to start from scratch
Beat all new main stages. S-ranked a total of 430 Pokes on the way (just enough to unlock Poliwrath). Couldn't catch Hoopa after a couple of full items runs (except for MS) because of the really low catchability (lows 30, I think).
Managed a score of 48k on the Steelix competition. Might give it another try since I'm sitting at 1200 position which is really a bit dangerous.
Wobbuffet was really useful for leveling up some Pokes (I even got several from level 9 to max). A 200 plays (which can be done in less than 4 hours) grants as many exp points as Victini.
My top score is 37789 with all items and the team being M-Charizard, Entei, Delphox, Reshiram (all maxed out). I'm currently at place 1741/24791.
I really don't know what to do as using M-Blaziken does not work for me.
I did however swap Ho-Oh's skill to Pyre so right now I'm waiting for the hearts to regenerate so that I can try it again with M-Charizard, Reshiram (Barrier Bash+), Entei (Rock Break+) and Ho-Oh (Pyre).
I fear I won't be getting the RML this time.

I placed within 10,100 top scorers in the competition so I landed safely in the top tier. I believe my best score was something like 48k.
I just caught Meganium after using almost all items on it. It's pretty annoying itemless and I don't really want to spend too many coins on a level that does not use hearts as the method of unlocking a play. I finished the stage with the first move but had to use a great ball because the RNG is never in my favour. >.>
But yes! I finally have another chance at catching Phione!

I have a few skill swappers lying around so I'll have no trouble using one on Suicune. Sadly my Suicune is still at level 6.
Re: this week's special stages, Phione is giving me a headache. I just can't seem to encounter it, and yeah, I know it's encounter rate is just 1.4%. But thankfully I now have a lot of Exp boosters!

@Nego
Is the only one I was missing, so decided to bite the bullet and use two jewels for the special item in the shop that grants infinite hearts for one hour. Finished with 15 S boosters and Phione in less than 45 minutes.
