Thanks for the input. I think I'll try and get to 50. 13 days is more than enough time. I may need to stock up on upgrades though, since I don't have any maxed pokemon.

That's interesting, but I think many people(including me) will stop at level 50 after getting the Latiasite.

The mega candy is useful and all... But mega starts are only 2000 coins, and I'll probably use many more coins trying to get this one.

@Morpheel: But isn't that first candy tempting at stage 70? Its not been that hard after stage 50 so far. I'm using a level 2, 3 and 2 max and getting by without using coins.

I'm going until at least 100. I'm at 65 and haven't lost yet. Not even using and entire roster of maxed Pokemon yet.

Latias' mega ability is pretty good. It's just like Ampharos', except the strike goes vertically. Can spark some decent combos. I've been using it in the escalation battles as soon as I acquired it.

Eventually I'll have to shift over and level up Latias on level 130, but so far so good.

@Klimbatize: I've lost a couple times now and just barely. I'm running Latias as my mega but I just realized I only have one maxed pokemon. I'm on stage 68 btw and I'm getting some bad set ups for combos. Leveling going very slow too but it's worth it. In also leveling Avalugg as well.

I used Disruption Delay and +5 moves on level 70. The few levels after that went back to manageable status. If you get a combo of at least 4 then disruptions aren't added, so Xerneas and its Quirky+ gets the slight edge over Rayquaza now.

I've been using Mega Glalie, Xerneas, Dragonite and Latias (I got it at stage 7). Only Xernes is fully leveled, and Glalie is at level 7. The other two are at level 4.

I usually play 4 matches against Latias and one for leveling up with Ampharos. I just got to level 48. Planning on using Victini over the weekend and some additional 130 stages to get the team all leveled up. Not stopping til level 150. Amassed 40k milking Meowth last week (in a three day run) and 29 hearts.

Using the same team as @maceng. Currently around 40. Going for 70 even though I haven't used any Mega Speed Ups yet. I have found no need for them. I haven't maxed out any Pokémon yet since I don't really spend time to train. I barely spend time collecting coins unless I have to in order to get good enough score to obtain Mega Stone from events. Most of the time I just play the stages normally or use +5 moves in order to gain S rank. Sure there are some stages where I need to buy some other items in order to S rank them but I rarely spend time to S rank anyways so I usually have enough coins thanks to checking in every day and playing Meowth stage on Sundays.

I'm using Mega Latias (3), Xerneas (Max), Dragonite (7) and Articuno (7). Mega Latias' effect is the most useful one we've had against Dragon types, and makes mincemeat out of herself. I'm at Level 68, and I'm debating whether to go to 100 or not. I mean, I've got this far with no items used, can I make it to 100 with no items used? (If I can, I'll wrap up tomorrow (I'm averaging 25 levels a day), and go back to Swordsman hunting, then S ranking.)
This Mega stone is worth it though. With Mega Glalie, getting to level 50 is pretty easy. You don't even need to grind. I've only failed once, and that was because Latias decided to block off all my combos on level 64...

This is the furthest I've actually ever gone with an Escalation Battle (I'm not too fussed about Mega Speedups), normally going to 50, but, hey. First time for everything.

On another note, I came fairly low for Mega Charizard (Eu). That's a pretty big fall from where I was, at low 4000s, on Sunday Evening, over the course of sunday night... Charizard really IS popular...

I've slowed down a bit, but am currently on level 85. Had to slow down to use up some of my coins, as I was over 99k. Instead, I've been grinding Latias and friends on level 130.

Easiest escalation battle to date for me. I haven't wasted a heart yet. Levels 81-85 are easier than the previous 20 for me because you deal with two columns of ice from the get go but those can eliminated very quickly with Diancie. Disruptions no longer come every turn unless you get a 4 combo, but instead every 3 turns. Much more manageable, and I've beaten every level from 81-85 in 9 moves or less. Previously, I was finishing with only 1-4 moves left.

Level 80 gives 2000 coins, btw. I haven't found a full list of level rewards (haven't looked too hard), but once I do that'll help me determine how far I go with this one.

With that list I may have to go to at least 150.

I've had more problems then you guys because I choose to stick with my team but had to switch it up and since no more problems. I'm at 78 I believe but wasted about 5 to 6 hearts in the 70's and for some reason stage 69.

Just finished level 100 Giratina on Mobile and I think that's it for rewards.

I'm currently at level 112 Latias on the 3DS. I'll go to level 150, but I have my doubts whether level 200 will be worth attempting.

My first and only attempt at stage 100 disnt go well at all lol. I think I maybe got it's health down to 70%.

@Spoony_Tech: I can't remember it exactly because I played it when I was half asleep from waking up in the middle of the night, but I think the same thing happened to me and I used M+5, DD, and Atk*2. If it had ice disruptions, I also swapped out my 4th slot for Diancie which would make sense why I have had Diancie on my team all morning.

I'm loving this escalation battle. I'm on level 115. I've only had to buy powerups for levels 75 and 100. I bought +5 moves and Disruption Delay for 75, and the same for 100 except I added Attack Power. With Diancie clearing up that ice in just a couple of turns, and Latias being a top-notch mega, I've beaten levels 101-115 and have always had at least 5 moves left. I beat a level in 90s (if I recall) in only 3 moves after landing a huge combo. Latias is strong. Current team: Mega Latias (8), Dragonite (max), Xerneas (max), Diancie (9).

I may have to stop and max out Latias and Diancie, but the path to 150 seems very attainable and cheap. 200 may wind up worth going for even if I have to add +5 moves.

@Klimbatize: M-Latias is indeed a good Mega for this escalation battle. I'm currently at 120 now with the exact same team except my levels are a lot lower.

My M-Latias is a 3, Xerneas is Max, Dragonite is at 8, and Diancie is only 2. I regularly have 2-3 moves left, i I am still plowing through towards 150.

I don't think 200 would be worth it for me, but there's still over a week and a half for me to change my mind, depends on if anything else comes out that's worthwhile to pursue.
