Topic: Pokemon Shuffle

I got Mega Sharpedo. While it is nice that they got to 5 million downloads I do wonder how many of them are active users. Sharpedo was a world wide event and I wish I could remember how many people participated on the rank. I don't think it is 6 figures though never mind the fact that they only gave out 18k stone total. When it was still based on region towards the beginning it was over 300k participants with 30k stones given out.

I ended up right around 2400 and got it.

I'm going to guess that a lot of people just don't play anymore and that may be partly why they give out the small amount of stones that they do.

More main stages have been added as well as a Charizard Mega competition.

I still need to beat the last set of stages as I got caught up do coin runs and S ranking.

I have accepted that I won't beat all the main stages until they are done with the events...

Competitions need a lot of coins, so I'm constantly playing the meowth level for coins, either.

And the recent main levels aren't any cheaper.

Pretty good update. The main stages seem far more fair than the last batch, and some of them may actually be useful.

Don't forget to beat Mew for a free jewel.

@Morpheel: I haven't touched it in 2 weeks. What's the deal with the competition on there.

The top slots have maxed (or near max) score. One of them with a ridiculously weak team, too.

At least the stone will be given to the first 250,000 players. That's generous.

Interestingly, with my score of 20k~ points (used the free coins and attack+ they gave today) I'm in the top 2000.

I noticed the top 5 scores use the Normal method, so I chose all the powerups and took on Charizard blind with my Normals. Had a combo going the entire time. I finished 6th! It's on a 3DS that's currently banned from MV so I had to take a pic for proof.

I'll have to try that next time I get the coins to play that level.

I've used Normals on a few of these timed competitions. Usually works out. Also used it to S rank the expert levels I was having a problem with.

@Klimbatize: I guess that's why I haven't seen you on Miiverse in a long time.

I use a second NNID on there, and I think I followed you on it, but I just don't use MV in general much anymore.

Looks like we've got a big problem in Pokémon Shuffle Mobile:
Cheaters in Mega Charizard Y Event got high score of 999,999!!!

@GreninJovan: Nintendo will take care of them. They usually spend certain amount of time checking for any suspicious entry at the competitions.

I want to start a topic inside this forum regarding Pokemon shuffle and future updates. Can we all agree on the following:

"What do you want next for Pokemon Shuffle on the 3DS"?

Well, I want several things:

• Saved teams in order to tackle most types of Pokemons and the Meowth stage.
• A better way to level-up the Pokemons. I have like 20 completely leveled-up Pokemons and I play every single day, 4-7 times.
• The ability to send gifts (jewels, coins and hearts) to friends.

I want a few new types of items, possibly Ultra Balls, Less Tanky stages, and a new version of Meowth with more HP. Yes, you heard me right, I want Meowth with MORE Hp.

...I keep killing it, even with really low levelled pokemon...

I also want a few more Crowd Controllers, if possible. It's a ridiculously useful ability.

Oh, and another Mega with Gengar's Megability, but that's never going to happen.

Saved teams would be nice, but not essential. And maxed pokes aren't really needed, except in some special cases (Gengar, Arceus and his Normal Tanks, I'm looking at you). They'll get there eventually.

For meowth, my team usual of Ampharos, zapdos, raikou and aurorus works really well (and it comes up automatically agaisnt any flying Pokemon, so it's easy to get the team ready for meowth).

Yeah, I used to use a high powered team, but it kept skyfalling bad luck on me, so I continually switch my team around, ditching any member when it gets too powerful. The vast majority of the pokes I use, I'll never use again.
