I'm still stuck on Conkeldorr...any tips on how to do it without items?

Sadly having to grind Meowth for some coin seems like it will be a much for a lot of players (including myself) for these levels. These levels seem a lot harder than past levels even with having powerful (but not maxed out yet) Pokemon.

I completed Level 50 of Giratina and am switching focus to getting some S-Ranks, with a secondary focus on the new levels. I have a feeling getting S-ranks and unlocking more Expert Level Pokemon are going to help more than catching all the Pokemon in the new levels currently.

OK, so levels 30, 55, 80, 105, 130, 155, 180 are coin levels. Every turn 1 or 2 coins are added as a disruption. Still bring super effectives. Xerneas's Quirky+ is good.

I've been playing the Darkrai escalation pretty much every heart I've got since it's been out and am almost at 75. From what I read, it's probably not worth playing past 150 though. I'll work on the new stages after that point. Has any of the new stages given anyone much trouble here? Anyone planning to go for the last Darkrai Mega Speedup?

I'm at 70. I will definitely go to 100, and then I'll test the next couple and see how difficult they are. I don't want to get to the point where I have to pay +5 moves every time or something. I'm guessing I can make it to 150. Maybe I'll go to 155 for the coins, since the two levels I've hit so far I've managed more than 1000 coins each.

I have only attempted the first three new main stages, and I beat them with no powerups. However, I needed +5 moves on 2 of them to S rank them. Didn't catch any though. After I'm done with Darkrai, I'll concentrate on the mains and the three new expert stages.

@DefHalan I purchased 2 batches of 12 jewels and have now about 65000 coins but i want to save them for future competitions , not waste them on gothorita since i am forcing myself not to spend any more money cause ive spent about 50$ on this game so far

I just completed level 99 for Darkrai and waiting on another heart. After level 75, you get a 5 hearts bonus. Only 50 more levels and I'm done with this Escalation Battle. I've read someone having to use Disruption Delays for every stage after 150 and for me, that's just not worth doing.

Apparently I was wrong about level 80 being a coin level. It's not.

@sykotek I actually think I'm going to stop at 100. I'm on 85 and sometimes I'm only beating levels with 1 move left. The speed up won't be worth all the hearts and coins it will take to get from 100 to 150.

I've got a feeling I'm going to have to go with my strongest crew here soon. I'm only on 45 though as I haven't been playing it quite as much.

Yeah, I am currently use a team of 3 maxed Pokemon. The other is an 8. I will have to kick over to all maxed out soon enough.

ok i just beat vivillon but im down to 34000 coins .....

I'm around 87 or 88, using two 9s, an 8, and a 7, and as long as the opening board gives me more than 3 or 4 Lucarios, I still haven't had any problems except for level 75. This has definitely been the easiest of these escalation battles, but I doubt I'll go past 100 unless they remain this easy.

@Xyphon22: That's whom I'm using as my Mega as well. One of my others is maxed along with him but I also have a 7 and I'm purposely giving all the extra experience to my level 3 Volcarona. So far no problems at all but I sense after 50 it might get a bit more difficult.

He's one of my level 9s. I switched to Heracross or whatever that bug one is for levels 50 and 75 because he does vertical block barriers on those stages making Lucario kind of useless, but for every other stage he's been great.

Just starting doing the new main stages. Is it just me, or do the stages give you a "Master Quest" vibe? I'm honestly surprised that I lost on the first new stage, and won with 0 moves left.

I just got the Speed Up at 100, and I'm done with Darkrai. I'm reading about what it takes to get to 150 for the next Speed Up, and it's not worth the investment of hearts and coins (on powersups) to me.

Going to focus on S-ranking these new main stages now.

I'm on 115 and although I've fell short a couple of times recently, I'm still completing the majority of stages without spending any money on items, only spent some on 50, 75, and 100. It doesn't feel significantly more difficult, it's a bit easier actually. I'm using Maxed team of M-Lucario, Genesect, Heracross, and a Lv.8 Xerneas. I know I have 125 to look forward to and the prize for that is 5 hearts then 150 for the next Mega Speedup. Those two stages, if anything like stage 100, will require Attack x2 and Disruption Delay.
