@Octane: You can obtain diamonds from SpotPass and StreetPass. I think they give you one every time you SpotPass 5 people (though I could be wrong) and they sometimes give you one when you save their Mii. There are also some diamonds in the shop under Free Diamonds which also require SpotPass and StreetPass but give you ten diamonds.
I haven't had a StreetPass with anyone who has the game yet but once I go back to my hometown in summer I'll get StreetPasses from my siblings. Multiple people at my university downloaded Shuffle and I get StreetPasses in that game all the time but I guess they haven't just discovered Rumble yet or aren't interested in it.
@BlueBlurIxM: You get an item which basically let's you choose the stage by slowing the roulette and stopping it instantly when you press A but it costs 2 diamonds to use. I hate that I keep visiting the same stages where I've caught all the Pokémon while there are places I haven't even been to yet.
EDIT: Forgot to tell that you get the item once you complete King's challenge "The Phantom Thief Returns".
I know. But I don't want to waste diamonds for it. I'm saving them for more balloons.
I just really like to know if you can time them properly. I know you can, but I can't figure it out in which speed the spin is right now.. Some speed require you to press stop right before your target and others spin 1,5 times around after stopping. Just to name examples. hmm..

Edit:
Oh, by the way. There's a limit on how many Gems you can get from spot/street pass. After a certain amount you'll only get 500Coins.
You don't unlock mega evolution until around the rank 30 king challenges. The stone cost 5 diamonds to put on your pokemon, however once it's attached to the pokemon it's 100% free to use and mega evolve at any time.

Important question. Does anyone's (new)3DS freezing when playing the game?
Because mine has the 3rd time right now. The sound stops and 3-4 seconds later the whole system freezes.
@BlueBlurIxM: I haven't encountered any problems (normal 3DS) but I've read from other forums that some have had freezing issues with the game, mainly after beating the level but before it saves. They've had so many patches and bug fixes for Shuffle so I think they'll do their best to fix Rumble's freezing problems too.
Can you actually time the roulette? I'm certain there are patterns, but they seem to change regularly between 2. It's hard to make out which of these two it's using right now. Because it's pretty annoying if you get into an area you already completed. Despite that you can catch stronger Pokemon of you already caught.
For me it always seems to select the one I stopped it at. Am I just really lucky or is this a thing?
@ryanator008
You start to see a difference as soon as there are 4 zones on the roulette. Sometimes it goes 1 time around and selects where you stopped. And sometimes it stops 2 zones further.
It's probably on a 3 zones roulette like this as well. There you probably can't tell if it was the case or your timing.
I think it has something to do with the colour of the spotlight. Red means the roulette spins "fast" and yellow means "normal". ...but I'm not sure.
@MorphMarron
I cought Groudon today on my first try. ^^
Ho-Oh and Kyogre on the other hand... ... !I'll get you soon!!
This game has gotten me to take the 3DS out with me more in hopes of getting more street passes. I've gotten 2 or 3 street passes since release date and each one was for smash and shuffle, but none for Rumble World. Seems it'll take a while for a larger amount of people to download the game while word of mouth spreads.
Oh cool, it looks like your mii updates in other player's games as they progress.. now Abgar has a petilil following him. (But I also had to save him again from a machoke.. then he died to the boss.. whoops!)

You're right. I was doing the ones with 3, and I occasionally was one off.
@Nintendo_Ninja
On page 4 @MegaBeedrill made good explanations on how this works.
Short: If the Pokemon is sparkling it's a guaranteed catch, or if "Boss"-Pokemon are stunned when defeating them.
(I can confirm that btw.. Thank You! I wouldn't have discovered this myself. ^^)

@Pahvi
Phew.. Then it's not just me.
I suggest nobody tells anybody anymore that they hadn't any freezes.... or else cruel fate will strike your 3DS!

Indeed. Get the wobble to work an it's super easy. The game actually tracks many times you've captured bosses by making them wobble (and the times you didn't). That alone kinda tells you it's important.
