For those curious, I bought Diamonds, sorry for the confusion. It's been so long since I bought them that I forgot it was a F2S game. At the point before I caved, I had caught all the available Pokemon from balloons I had access to in addition to many from random visitors and came to a point where I wasn't encountering enough new Pokemon to get a high enough Rank in order to get more Diamonds from the King missions to continue, it was a vicious cycle. I calculated it and with Play Coins and random StreetPasses, it'd take me months of checking in daily for Diamonds and not actually playing in order to unlock the remaining balloons and since I had a couple hundred fun filled hours into the game, I realized it was worth paying for access to the Diamond Mine. It didn't even occur to me there were still players who didn't just pay to have full access to the game. For all intents and purposes, as of today, Diamonds are absolutely useless to me at this point.

Anyway, Changing Land is ridiculously useful. One trip there after I got the Dark Balloon and I got 11 new Pokemon. Now I'm wondering what's going to happen first: I get every Pokemon in Dark Land or I get enough Diamonds to buy the Origin Balloon? I'm only a few days away from both.

Yeeaaah, they haven't done jack squat about the limit on Diamonds you get from Miis. Like, I know that it's a F2P game and they're trying to convince you to put money into it, but even playing for free the extreme to which you have to grind Diamonds is ridiculous (5 Diamonds a day means it takes you a good 4-6 weeks to get the higher priced balloons). And if you doubled the amount of Diamonds you get from the Mine, it's only fair to give free players a boost too.

Yeah I didn't even know the Diamond mine was a thing but 20 Diamonds a day AFTER buying 3000? The heck can you even do with that any diamonds? And now they double it to 40 a day?

At the very least they should just give you a Diamond every day for checking in instead of needing to hit that random 5 visits.

The 5 visitor Diamond is guaranteed if you use the Play Coins, that's not much of a problem. The problem is that there's a cap on Diamonds you get from Miis, so no matter how many people visit or how many times you SR, you never get more than 5 or 6 Diamonds per day. I would remove the cap and just have any Mii you invite give you Diamonds and/or have them give you 2 Diamonds instead of 1 so you can get closer to 10-15 per day.

So, what is going on with Vivillon in this game? I want to get the title "Vivillon Master" which requires to get all the forms of Vivillon but I havn't even seen all of it's forms yet. I've spent like 10 diamonds on going back back to a stage with Vivillon (10 runs) and I kept seeing the same forms of it over and over again... So is there anyone that knows why?

@liavcol: I know why. You need to meet real players who play this game in other regions of the world. Easy way you can achieve this is either do a friend code exchange or hope to meet players by inviting them in game either through the free once a day button or by paying with play coins to get random strangers. It's pretty much where I'm stuck at in game too.

@sykotek: Yeah, I actually kept searching a bit yesterday after posting the message and I saw someone says that on GameFAQs. However, he added an image that shows what Vivillon are from what regions (http://gamerssphere.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Vivillon-Forms.png) but something doesn't make sense to me because my 3DS is set to Canada Alberta (although I don't live there, this is because I am from Israel and my 3DS is American and only the Canadian eShop are respecting my credit card) and by that map I should have Icy Snow Vivillon but I can't see it.
But either way, let's try to help each other out! What region your 3DS is set to? Maybe we can exchange FC and we'll have a better chance of getting new Vivillon...

Eel

I got the coolest Roselia, with the extra poison ability and a good fast poison move (can't figure the English name, the game auto sets itself to Spanish) and petal dance.

It kills everything in one hit, and bosses don't do much better either.

Bloop.

Hey, what's happened with the servers for this game? I haven't been able to check in for about the last month or so. Did Nintendo shut them down? If so, that's really going to cut down on the number of Pokédiamonds I can still get and will make unlocking the last couple of balloons impossible for me without spending some real world moolah on those diamonds. Why would they do this to me?!

EDIT: Never mind. It's finally working again, although I still have no idea why the servers were shut down for about a month.

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.
