If Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat were all destroyed, 90% of teens would go insane. If you're one of the 10% that would be laughing at them, copy & paste this into your signature and hope it happens. Wait was that just a joke?
Me neither. If it really does come out after a long time I'll have a 3DS XL by then and I'll buy this with everyone else. This is like when PTC was close to release, everyone was excited. Now it's the same with us...
I FEEL LIKE THIS IS A HISTORIC MOMENT! I cannot wait for this!
I doubt they'll do this, but I would really, really love it if they made it so we could import MIDI files instead of having to code each music track. Looking forward to it either way.
hope it uses C(or any other C variation like C# or C++ maybe even arduino language, that last one won't happen ) or java and not basic....... it would be easier for me and many programmers Basic is not so well known.... but since the 3DS has less limitations it might have a small collection of compilers all together making it work in more than one language....

I'd like to see the ability to load/save data to SD card directly so we can have large images/programs without having to scan so many QRs. (80+ QRs? I don't have the patience.)
It would be nice if we have
1. Basic compiler
2. Fast triangle/quad renderer (not limited to GLINE+GPAINT+GLINE combo)
3. Compatibility with PC/Wii apps export
4. One button click to put stuff on Nintendo eShop. Maybe after review process.
5. Custom sprite on the bottom screen
6. Easy large background. (beyond 64x64)
7. Expanded sprite space.
8. Different screen resolution support. (for multiple platforms)
9. Direct sound recording and manipulation
10. Direct camera recording and manipulation
11. Circle Pad support
4. One button click to put stuff on Nintendo eShop. Maybe after review process.
Never going to happen. A deluge of terrible copycat games with loads of bugs flooding the eShop would undermine the entire platform. And "review process" sounds easy but a serious review costs serious time and money.

What if Petit Computer 3DS had it's own "marketplace" in the software where people could download other's games? (I am guessing they would be free also)
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

There's more, but I'll stop here for now.
having C or more than one programing language would be fine already but if all those things in your list were featured in it, it would make it overpowered for a small fun app(and I LOVE having OverPowered TOOLS and bet everyone loves too!!!! )

I don't want any fancy stuff. As long as I can continue to program little apps and games and use the new features of the 3DS I'll be more than happy. Compatibility with the previous version and an easier method to share things would be nice too.
An in-app "marketplace" would be perfect for sharing stuff, but it would probably get filled with kids who would use it like a hipster Facebook.
There's already an official post for this on the forums when Nintendo Life just posted the news? Wouldn't it be better if everyone commented there then comment here when it actually does get released?

It doesn't have to be free. We'll see how the new model of FlipMemo will work, but I'm open to the possibility of different levels like Hobbyist, Amateur, Professional, and Studio. With Hobbyist=Free. Amateur $10/month. Proffesional $50/month, and so on...
with perhaps, voting rights starting with Amateur levels upwards with appropriate weight.

True, true. Still, it takes forever to scan games nowadays when people aren't making small games.

Does it really matter? News articles on the home page are for discussing said news articles. The forums are here for discussion.
I want to be able to take screenshots of your game and put them in the Nintendo 3ds camera and send them to Nintendo and they could send them to the Eshop? (Petit Computer doesn't have the best graphics so the 2nd one probably won't make it )

Ho, awesome. I daydreamed once that I finished Apocalypse Rising and sent it to Nintendo and they ported it into an OFFICIAL DS CARTIDGE. Best fake moment ever.... Oh and did I mention it had online and local multiplayer? That's what I'm depending on, with this new Petit Computer.
Anyway, have they leaked an official release date? Hope it's sometime after Christmas, honestly. This moment is like in the classic Petit Computer thread...
Oh, it's over in the DSiWare if anyone wants to post there. So now basically we post what we hope it has and how excited we are, and when it comes out we discuss games and programs and stuff, we explore it and report all that we find.
