Well the desert in Chapter 2 in the 1st was probably a reference to the 2D Marios since they have deserts for World 2

It is? That's an interesting idea, although I'm thinking it's more likely a coincidence.

Here's something interesting though; will world 5 be an island or something? In the first two games it was an island you had to explore, and in all three you had an annoying adventurer character accompanying you throughout.

Wait is it called Sticker Star because Mario is a Sticker Star or is there an actually star of sticker ?

Comets are often called "shooting stars" and the Sticker Festival is celebrated by wishing on the Sticker Comet. So if you roundabout logic'd stuff it does come out as Sticker Star.

Then again, what do I know? I won't even be getting this game for quite some time. It's on my Chirthmas list so I'll be getting it December 30th at the latest.

Maybe it's just called Sticker Star for marketing. I mean, according to Mario Wiki it's called Paper Mario Super Seal in Japan, so maybe the star bit is part of the translation.

Seal is pretty much sticker in japanese.

So I'm guessing there's a bunch a crowns that turn enemies into giant bosses then, like that Pokey and now the Blooper. (and Bowser, of course, lol)

Surprised they didn't do this sooner, since it's pratically tradition to have a giant Blooper boss in these games.

Probably didn't do this earlier because the last two games didn't take place in a known part of the Mushroom Kingdom, with the area including Rogueport being the other side of the country and Super Paper Mario's dimensions being alternate universes.

But it's nice they used him here, he's more interesting than just another generic giant Blooper boss.

Was the blooper in the first game a boss? I thought it was just an enemy that gave you a lot of points

The latest trailer for this has caused me to decide to get this game even though I like Mario & Luigi better than Paper Mario. I still haven't gotten Bowser's Inside Story...

well there are 3 different Blooper enemies, you fight them each only once, and they have miniboss music. So yeah they count.
