3000 blocks - surprised by that since the Japanese version was only 1700 so someone told me. Might mean I need a new card before I can download Mario Golf
maybe because of a trazillion european languages in the european version?
anybody downloaded yet? tell me what you think about the game!
@DadOfFour1972 - Ah Thanks! I'll add your son as well. I have to say, this game is very addictive.. I pictured this evening to be productive in terms of studying but this game made me choose otherwise. I'd like to see where you all are going!
I still have to start the first season, wasting too much time changing logo, shirts and name of the players!
You can actually change tactics without a substitution: just change players position!
haven't started season yet. Spent a lot of time messing about with the other bits and also played 4 matches against my sons team (2-2 so far). Playing all the pre-season friendlies experimenting with formations and tactics

Just picked up the game today. Initial impressions seem great. I've noticed that my tactics do make a marked difference in how the games pan out, I have to qualify this by saying, I've been playing footie sims since the ZX spectrums days. Unfortunately the current PC games are just too in depth/demanding for me. I thought that this portable one may strike a happy middle ground with enough complexity to be enjoyable.
Upto now I've put an 1+ hour in just playing practise games and picking up training cards. I've also hit the transfer market and gone in big for a Central defender. I hope he turns out to be a vincent kompany and not a frank sinclair.
Anyhow, I've taken the liberty of adding a few friend codes on this thread.

Please feel free to add me and I will do likewise in a timely fashion. Cheers.

This game is a real time eater. Spent the morning just tinkering with tactics. Alas my team plays more like west ham than bayern. Need to get one of my midfielders to get his head up and pick a pass. Also my star forward is injured for 4 weeks after I played him when he was knackered, a lesson learned there.
Going out to enjoy the day but no doubt be playing this evening,

Have you guys started to fiddle with the cards already? I have unlocked half a dozen combos so far. Do you think we should list the combinations in this thread or just leave the other players freedom to explore?!
Anyway, had me first online match yesterday and I'm about to play the last match in the league. It's great because it is the kind of game you can play while you shave. Any game you can play while having tea and a cigarette is an automatic winner. Gonna add @spike very soon.
Top-10 games I played in 2017: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - Rogue Legacy (PS3) - Fallout 3 (PS3) - Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - Guns of Boom (MP) - Sky Force Reloaded (MP) - ...
Just had such a tense game. First game of the season after i advanced from the lowest league last season.
After 10 minutes i down 0:1 but the game was not looking too bad for me until then. My team starts pushing again and then one of my recent additions (1100 salary) gets a red card. I scramble and rearrange my team and sub one of my players. Switching to a more defensive strategy.
Manage to get to half time without much happening after that.
Then around the middle of the second half i exchange two more players and switch to an offensive 2 forward system and pushing the zone way forward as well. The new forward takes two shots at the goalkeeper and then another one of my players runs in and scores with the third shot on goal that minute.
I push my team even further forward and it works out. My star forward scores with only 3 more minutes left in regulation. I again move all my players back and stop every attack the other team trys to throw at me. Overtime was only 1 minute. And after that i was really happy to have won that game
The Hamburg Red Shells (shame the name did not fit so it is just Red Shells in game) will prevail and raise to the top of the world.
got the game today and played like 3 hours straight
it's very charming. i havent found the hang of the game mechanics just yet. so far i have only managed to get 2 training combos. do they have to be in a specific order? are there combos with 3 cards aswell? what if you make a combo with 2 cards and add a 3rd card to that? does the first combo still counts then?
how the hell do i make online games??
i went online but there was no option other than make a match against a team i have the ID of.
my goalie is driving me nuts. when he gets the ball he shoots it not far away enough. the ball always lands in half field in my half add an opponent. there are no better goalies on the ingame transfermarket so i dont know what to do.
how can i change tactics midgame without substitutions?
