Well thanks to Twitter I was able to catch an image of the actual Nintendo 3DS Prepaid Gamecard on sale in a Best Buy store somewhere in United States.
No no nooo! We have to pay $20 for $2 games again?! Nintendo lost my sale.
Ah, TeeJay relax. There are going to be movies, tv shows and other stuff. We buy $15.00 to $50 dollars for the iTunes cards and $20 to $50.00 cards for the PlayStation Network. It's all good.

@TeeJay that may be for the people who don't have access to a credit card or a debit card, (like me) and besides if all the games I like come on there I will be spending that $20 dollars pretty quickly.

I don't have access to a credit card or debit card. I'm dissapointed because I was really hoping for a refillable card that lets you put however much cash you want directly onto your account.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
Yeah it hurts for me to look at it. I have neck issues >.< anyway it looks pretty good. Can't wait.

So many Awesome video games coming out this year! So many games so little money! Crap!
Could the wait finally be over? Is the eShop launching within the next week or two? Will NPG finally have access to Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins? These questions and more answered...next time, on Nintendo Life!

Well there are debit cards that you can get refilled whenever you need them to be... and you can use them for whatever you want to besides just eshop games... if they work that way of course...

Does it really make much difference? It's only a difference between whether you just buy the one card, or whether you go through multiple cards. It's not as if you'll have to spend all $20 in one go. It will just sit in your account until you use it all.
Please sign my petition to get a European (and Australian) release for Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked for the 3DS. Don't let Europe be deprived of another amazing game.
If the cards are making their way to retailers it must not be long now! I'm crossing my fingers for this Monday!...but any time earlier than that would be good too

There's a difference because instead of being able to buy a game I want when I have two dollars, I have to wait until I amass twenty dollars before I can get it.

games on DSi cost 200 points, 500 points and 800. so no. 2 games do not cost $20. it is a good price i'd buy two for starters but first we need to have something to spend it on

I really wished those 500 point games only cost 400 or 600, that way when I bought a $20 card I could spend it all without the worry of have leftover useless points from the odd "5" hundred point cost
