Topic: Night Sky

I cannot wait for this game! The pics on the recent NL news article look very well rendered, I hope the game looks this good on the 3DS! They just announced it was rated for North America for the 3DS e-shop, so that must mean it has a not-too-far-in-the-distant-future release date. I'm all about non-conventional types of games, which is why I like all the Art Style games on DSiWare. I know it's not released yet, but I would like to strike up some conversation about it until its release date if possible. Any more screenshots floating around out there?

I've been waiting since 2009 to play this on a Nintendo console. Cannot wait. The soundtrack seems perfect for the game's atmosphere. Hopefully it's in 3D.

It should be! It's 3dsware, but they are still releasing dsiware so who knows, i do remember hearing tho that it is for 3dsware. I didn't even think about the soundtrack! omg! I hope it's freaking amazing

Nicalas (the publisher) previously said the game wouldn't be in 3D despite being made for the eShop. I haven't heard anything recently to contradict that statement, but seeing this game in 3D would be amazing.

It's not made for 3DSWare...

Just like Cave Story and VVVVVV, it's a PC indie port (Nicalis doesn't make the games, they just publish them).

As for the matter of 3D, it's always possible that it's not, but seeing as how they got VVVVVV to be 3D (as well as the upcoming Cave Story+ 3D), I don't see why not.

In any case, I'm looking forward to the game!

@RR529 Me, too! I don't care if it's in 3D or not, but it would be kinda awesome if it DID show up in 3D wouldn't it? Either way, I want to get my hands on this. Thanks for posting the soundtrack, too, @Radixxs !
